My wife and I stayed for two nights at this wonderful B+B earlier this month. Nothing has been overlooked at Drysdale House to ensure your stay is comfortable and memorable. 
Our host Cathie's attention to detail is fantastic. Right down to the homemade Melting Moments and the Chocolates on offer that I found hard to resist. 
A lovely hot breakfast followed a good nights sleep. 
The room and ensuite were both extremely clean and well appointed. As were the Lounge and Dining Rooms. From the warm welcome you receive on arrival ,right down to the personal yet unintrusive attention, this is the place to stay when visiting the Bellarine Peninsula. Especially if intending to enjoy a ride on the Q Train or Blues Train.

The place to stay in Drysdale

We stayed with friends for the night as we were dining on the Q Train .  The warm welcome from Cathie on entering this gorgeous property and  sitting in the garden with a cuppa and plate of the most scrumptious homemade melting moments that we have ever tasted we didn’t want to leave but we will certainly be back.  Everything we needed was thought of and was great that each room had an ensuite. Loved our stay , can’t thank you enough!

JUST BEAUTIFUL…

I recently spent 2 nights at Drysdale house and it was perfect. Lovely clean two bedroom cottage with a lovely old time ambience. The beds are comfortable, warm and extremely clean. Theres a kitchen with fridges, tea, coffee and plates and cutlery if you want to stay in and order takeaway. The breakfast is 10/10. Cathie is a warm and welcoming host and I look forward to visiting again later in the year. 5 min walk to Q Train which is a bonus also. Thanks Cathie

The Perfect Place For A Relaxing Break

We had an overnight stay at this delightful B&B. A friendly welcome by Ian who greeted us. Our room had everything we needed and a comfy bed. Could barely hear any traffic noise due to double glazing even though on main road. It’s location was perfect for our evening on the Q train. Virtually opposite station, only a couple of minutes walk. Ian and Cathie were lovely hosts and I really enjoyed the breakfast of fresh berries and yoghurt, variety of bread and toppings for toast, and cereals. The extra nice touch was Cathie’s homemade melting moments 😋 to have with our unlimited tea and espresso coffee. Definetely recommend this beautiful B&B.

B&B with charm and character.

My wife and i celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary by dining on the Q Train Restaurant which leaves from Drysdale Station & heads to Queenscliff and back to Drysdale. When booking i looked for a B&B close by Drysdale Station and found Drysdale House only across the road from the station and a beautiful 1851 weatherboard home set up as a B&B. Cathie the owner put on a great continental breakfast and the house and our room was prefect.  We loved it. Oh and the bed was so comfortable... sleep so well.

Beautiful B&B

Stayed there overnight as we were going on the Qtrain. The place is lovely old style b & b. With the high ceilings and timber internal walls plus a deep old fashion both in the prvate ensuite. It has 2 rooms with their own ensuite. A shared eating area and parlour. Our host Cathie was a pleasure to speak with and made us very welcome. It was only a 5 min walk to Dysdale station an d the Qtrain. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Drysdale

Immaculate layout in old style decor - but modern touch where necessary. Spotlessly clean & well located relative to  Q Train departure with 2 minute walk. Hosts Janice & Lester are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble !!

Excellant B&B, one of the best.  Friendly efficient staff, beautiful decor and artefacts,  very clean and well maintained, Proud owners.  Cannot fault in any way. 

Comfortable beds and coffee and drink facilities are second to none.

Wonderful accommodation in a beautifully restored period home. Very comfortable beds and wonderful friendly hosts. Is a 5 minute walk from the Q Train, so makes it first port of call for the ideal accommodation. Hosts are also great conversationists.

A quality stay

Just two double rooms (both en suite), sharing a lounge and a dining room (with espresso machines, kettles, etc) in a beautifully restored building that's kept spick and span. Would be especially suitable for two couples travelling together. The owners are very hospitable and obliging, and serve a very generous and tasty breakfast. Adding to another reviewer's observation, you won't need lunch if you pick the full hot or cold breakfast.

Drysdale is a great base for visiting the Bellarine Peninsula, and Drysdale House's only drawback is that it's further from the town centre than most people would want to walk, so you'll probably need to use your car to go out for dinner or collect a takeaway, though I believe there are some delivery services.

I would definitely stay with Janice and Lester again if I returned to the area.
