On a cold winter night in st Leonard’s, where do you go for dinner? Come here….. the Parma is the best!!!! The menu is not very extensive but it is good honest pub fare. $25 for this is a pretty good price anywhere and it is made with ‘real’ chicken breast. 
The decor isn’t anything to write home about but who cares, we didn’t go there for the decor.

Lovely country pub, reasonably priced rooms, great beer garden space.

Comfy beds and had a great nights sleep, friendly staff and fantastic location.

Pub menu could be a little more exciting, but understandable when it’s not peak season. Great country feel.

Dropped into SL Hotel a few times on a beautiful winter afternoon while fishing on pier with kids.
After passing the numerous virus checklist requirements I was permitted to order.
Toasties, beverages, crisps and a flutter on the nags.
Final visit was to celebrate fishing success (Australian Salmon in esky for an oven bake).
The huge windows overlooking pier & sea make a peaceful view.

Stayed 2 nights with a group of girl friends from Melbourne a staycation for me because I live on st Leonard's
Every  room has a seaview overlooking beer garden and small balcony.

Rooms are motel style all with own bathroom.  Fun escape

Accommodation stay

We had a family gathering here and it was the perfect spot. Good food with good sized portions, friendly and accommodating staff and plenty of room for the little ones to run around. Not to mention the bay views. Across the road is a large car park, enclosed playground and family friendly beach.

Great spot for a day out

We had a family gathering at lunchtime in the beer garden. The food was lovely and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. Great place to take children where they can enjoy also. The children were offered a special kids menu which included a soft drink and ice cream just like it used to be. I had the fish tacos served with sweet potato fries the meal was lovely. There was a large group of us and we all enjoyed our time there on arrival they also put umbrellas up on our table. I would recommend this for any gathering great outlook and just an overall fabulous experience.

FAMILY GATHERING

A prime location and such an iconic pub for the area. We have been regular visitors for ten years dining at the St Leonards hotel. It used to be great...Unfortunately we have sadly watched the decline in appearance and service.  A simple tweak to the menu to provide some meals supporting local suppliers would be nice to see. 

Fantastic beer garden with great views however when you are greeted by an unwelcoming publican the vibe quickly changes.  Inside the venue poorly flows and is very unloved with cheap furnishings. 

The owner himself seems to have lost his passion to provide a welcoming environment. We will not be returning or recommending this place to friends or guests in the 

Time to hand over this beautiful building to someone who is willing to provide a welcoming guest experience, add some tlc and positive energy to support the Bellarine Peninsula.

Time to move on

The setting is second to none.  Huge beer garden with plenty of seating, room for kids to run around without getting under everyone's feet, situated right across from the beautiful St Leonards Beach.  You couldn't ask for better!!  Or, could you?

The whole place needs a bit of a revamp, a tidy up and a paint wouldn't go astray.  

The food however, wasn't bad.  A little overpriced for what you get, but that's dining out these days.  

We had the chicken parma and flathead fillets.  The fillets were delicious and the chicken parma an actual piece of chicken breast.  Sadly, for the price you pay, chips and salad with the dish isn't great.  The chips were tasty, salad (what can be said about salad leaves - blah).  Please read the reviews owners of this once fantastic pub, and get someone into the kitchen to give a few lessons on food prep, get some vegies on the plates too.  Not everyone enjoys salad leaves.

Unlike other reviewers, I will eat here again.  However, I will also expect something to be done to the menu.  It's ok at the moment, but it needs to be updated.  Fried food with chips and salad isn't enough.

Not awesome but not bad either

I had the lamb and rosemary pie, unfortunately too much stuff that wasn't chewable was in it just like most pies, and my friend had the chicken parmi.  My glass of prosecco went down well.  The best part was dining outside on a lovely evening.  It was ok.

It was ok

Rooms were really comfy and a good size for our family of 4. Location was amazing, walk across the road and you're at the beach. Good, tasty pub food and when you're staying at a pub what more would you expect! Good range for kids (nuggets are important with young kids!) Helpful staff, great musicians playing but were quiet enough for kids to sleep. Small park across the road. Loved our stay!
