We've been sleeping quietly and comfortably since Kreuth, and the arrangements for the do-it-yourself breakfast are great, and unfortunately, breakfast didn't start until 8:00 a.m., probably because of a lack of staff, and the beer in the fridge was too hot for me, but it's a very high level of suffering, and I can only recommend accommodation to everyone.

Ideal for crossing the Alps

We were extremely pleasantly surprised! We (12 people!) were very kindly cared for by Karel; a spectacular breakfast! Very child-friendly. The rooms may not have been very stylishly furnished, but they were clean and perfectly adequate.

It's a great stop.

Arriving in the room I thought of simply turning around and leaving because I was somehow disappointed. The small window was pointing to the highway. The room had three beds, the bathroom was long with a tub, the light in the room was far too dark, the TV teeny-weeny, spiderwebs beside the bed, a hole in the bedding. Furthermore it was smelling as if someone had smoked in the room though it was a non-smoker room. 
But then the owner was a nice guy, that I couldn't care less about these facts. 
So I stayed until breakfast. And this was it. The offer was so limited, no vegetables, no big choice of anything... I preferred to take my breakfast somewhere else then. 
Parking lot behind the house was practical and also the bed was o.k. 
Nevertheless not to be recomended for more than a night passing through.

YMCA style - very low budget style - friendly staff

We went on a family vacation with friends and were very pleased. It was very familiar and you felt welcome there. The Aachen lake is easily accessible. And there are many other activities nearby.

Very good for family and friends

Very nice owner, rooms a little small or the bed a little narrow. Despite the federal road it was quiet. Everything clean, breakfast good. Great that the sauna in the garden is heated on demand!

Good for a hiking stop

We were welcomed there and were able to lock our wheels away. The breakfast was fine. The rooms are already a little bit unoccupied, but clean and are probably being gradually renovated, since the next room already had a new floor. Simple setup, but not unattractive. The beds were too soft for me.

Nice, but not for long.

On our Alpine crossing, we stayed in the Tyrol and had a nice evening. The rooms are simple but clean. The breakfast is great - mini-pans to cook eggs yourself, various cereals, fruit, bread, sausage, cheese, jam, etc. - something for everyone. A highlight is the owner, however - after a hard walk in heavy rain and some injuries, we called the boarding house to order a taxi for the last 3km, but the host just came by and picked us up - free and mega friendly. Thank you very much!

Simple, clean B&B with nice host

Stayed here on my way back to Munich from a stint working in Croatia, Der Tiroler was recommended by a colleague who I met up with whilst there. Lovely little hotel and possibly THE best breakfast ever. Excellent hosts, nice little bar, comfy rooms and gorgeous views in the morning.

It's a little far away from the main village but there is plenty of parking

Overall a fantastic place with a lovely atmosphere

Likes:
- The owner was very kind and pleasant.
- Free parking onsite.
- Free internet connection.
- Good breakfast.
- Nice view from rooms.
- Big balcony round first floor.
- Achensee is quite close to the hotel.

The only two things to improve:
- Unfortunately there was a problem with plumbing in our room, hope that they will fix that issue for other visitors.
- Would be nice if the balcony door was able to close somehow from inside :)
