Comfortable hotel in the centre of the village. Spacious and clean room, comfortable mattress beds, varied and good quality breakfast. Courtesy staff and prodigious advice. Outdoor breakfast in the yard is certainly a pleasant plus. Price a little high but overall in line with the average. Recommended.

Comfortable

Bedtime was good, rooms on the street, but still quiet. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit. It was a pity that you couldn't eat there, but there is a heurie opposite that is very good. Furthermore, it is a pity that the last ferry to Dürnstein leaves already at 18:00 (on weekends longer) sum sum summarum: price-performance ratio fits, very recommended!

Beautiful, spacious rooms

We booked this place for a family get together. Due to very unfortunate circumstances we had to cancel the trip with one week notice. We had to pay 70% of the costs despite the fact that the rooms ended up being booked by other guests, as confirmed by the owner via phone. 

Horrible experience 

The hotel is well located for visiting the fantastic Wachau area and the town of Rossatz was very pretty. The rooms were fine and spacious though maybe a little dated and quite hot for the summer with no fans or air con. The main issue was that the restaurant was closed on a Friday evening, something we found in a few Austrian hotels, the receptionist did recommend some alternatives and we ended up eating at the bistro in the town square, bbq whole fish very, very good.
On balance an okay stay, only for 1 night anyway

good location and ok stay

The first positive thing was that we had a room reserved for three people, which was a large room with two double beds, each in separate rooms. That was great. On the other hand, the bathroom was very small, the ventilation and flushing of the toilet was very loud, and also it was really extremely cold in the bathroom. The heating didn't work. When we were there in the summer, it was awfully hot. So there was something wrong with the heating regulation.

Average

The rooms were normal, old TVs, the staff barely spoke German, there was no possibility of dinner at night, no staff after 8 p.m. The bar was self-consuming and expensive, not worth much.

Nothing from the other world...

This hotel is well situated for anyone wishing to explore the Wachau area of Austria. The rooms themselves are spacious and seem to be recently fitted out. However, the attention to the little things made this place a little "Lacking". 
For example, our room was on the 2nd floor, but the lift was not working. The wifi, was free but not working in the rooms. The rooms had a mini-bar which was not working but there was an option for using a large drink cabinet in the reception area. 

The breakfast was plentiful and on the first day we were asked if we wanted coffee, the second day this was not offered. 

The hotel does not serve evening meals, but there are plenty of places close by and the staff were ready to offer suggestions.

Misses the mark

Outdated bathroom with shower curtain. Washbasins not cleaned. Rooms on the street. Nothing fresh on the breakfast buffet. Price-performance ratio is not at all right. Not recommended.

Location in Rossatz/Wachau excellent, managing director and staff very busy, breakfast was very good and plentiful, rooms a little old but renovated, WiFi available - Roissatz 8 can be recommended with a clear conscience for watchers

Price/performance O.K.

The staff is not competent. The room is OK but too expensive. Breakfast is only at 8:15. For breakfast frozen pastries, 1 egg for all guests (at least 30), two types of sausage, two types of pastries. The quality of breakfast corresponds to a last-class breakfast pension. No card payment is possible because the staff did not know: Go to the next ban and pick up!
