Unfortunately, not all facilities such as a spa/sauna or schistall are located in the hotel itself but in the surrounding buildings (which will be kept secret from hotel presentations). The hostess and her daughter are very busy.

Effort, but with shortcomings

Friendly staff, good dinner, clean rooms with great views, good and sufficient breakfast, price/performance fits, taxi was arranged for us by staff, we girls say thank you and see you soon, we like it 👍🏻

A nice clean family run hotel. Ample parking on site and good internet. A reasonable breakfast, with wonderful home made bread. Friendly service, good location.  A good deal. If travelling by bicycle there is a room to lock the bicycles away. Good views.

Very Good

I felt comfortable at the Hotel Stenitzer from the first minute. You can see that the hotel is a family business, as there is a very different warmth. Location: The hotel is very central, the ski bus (driving to the Hauser Kaibling valley station 5 min) stops right in front of the house. Food/drink: the choice for breakfast is absolutely sufficient: several kinds of sausage and cheese, stretchers, different bread and pastries. Exactly right to gather strength for the upcoming Ski Day. In the evening you have the choice between three meals: the portions are sufficient and the quality of the food is very good.

It just fits...

I booked the village house at the end of March for a ski holiday. The hotel is also well located. The bus stops towards Kaibling and Planai are right in front of the hotel, you don't have to walk far. We had a three-bedroom. The third bed was a sofa. This room I found a little too small to store all the ski cases and the suitcases. The mattresses of the double bed were too soft for me. The bas bathroom was also very spacious. You should take the hygiene items (shampoo & shower) with you because the quantities provided by the hotel are not enough and you should not follow the bags, you should always eat so many fresh meals outside. This hotel was owned by soapbox. The room was so small that you could find a lot of automatic ski equipment to eat in the hotel, but the restroom was not always available in the hotel, and the restroom was not always open until 18:30 p.m.

Hotel in good location

We have spend there 5 days 2 families. I have to say that an owner - Mrs. Betina is friendly person and always very helpful. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Wifi worked only downstairs in a restaurant. Skibus is right in front of hotel and takes two minutes to skilift :-)

Friendly staff&good location

We stayed at this hotel for a week in a group of thirteen people coming from Iceland. Our stay was very pleasant. When we arrived to the hotel from Salzburg we felt very welcome. The hotel is on three floors, one main floor and two floors with bedrooms. The hotel has an elevator so there was no problem bringing the luggage up to our rooms.

The hotel has a storage infront of the hotel where you can keep you skis and other equipment, for easy access in the morning.

The hotel is in a perfect location, the skibus stopped right outside the hotel and it was only a few minute drive to the skilift.

The rooms are very quiet, clean and nice, you couldn't hear any noise coming from cars driving outside the hotel. Each day the rooms were cleaned, beds were made, the trash was emptied, towels replaced, etc. The only setback were the beds. The mattresses were a little too hard and the pillows were a little too soft.

The service was very good and the staff was really nice. It was easy to reach the staff if you needed anything. Also if you ordered something, there was no hassle to pay upfront, you could just put it on the room bill and pay on departure. Very convenient.

Breakfast and dinner were held in a seperate diner. From 8-10 AM there was a very nice breakfast buffet with variety of things to eat. Each table had a list with main courses where each person could choose what they wanted to have for dinner.
From 6-8 PM there was a three course dinner, starting with soup and salad, a main course and finally a dessert.
Each evening when we arrived for dinner, a waiter came and asked us what we wanted to drink. Also when the glasses emptied, the waiter was very quick to offer us something more to drink. A great service.

The hotel has a really nice spa where you can relax in a sauna after the day in the mountains. There was also a nice bar on the hotel, where you could sit down, relax and have a drink.

Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and our stay. If we travel again to Austria/Schladming, we would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel!

Run by the Schram family (Father, mother and daughter), the hotel is very well located for a skiing holiday, being about 5 minutes from Hauser Kaibling lift and 10 minutes from Schladming Planai, using the free ski buses which stop right outside.
Spotlessly clean with large, comfortable beds and well designed and equipped bathrooms with lashings of hot water....what more might a skier want?? Very nicely decorated bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe and shelf space.
A wellness suite provides an excellent steam bath, Finnish sauna and comfortable relaxation area with towels galore available.
There is a good breakfast buffet (fruit, cereals, boiled eggs, hams, fresh bread etc with great coffee). Dinner is 4 courses (salad buffet, soup, choice of 2 main dishes, dessert), all freshly cooked.
Good sized car park with easy access.
