Perfectly located and comfortable accommodation. More chalet style than hotel with mostly larger groups of guests seated  at meal times. Staff, service and food were all really good and just right. Our Austrian twin was tiny and lacked privacy vis a vis the toilet, shower and bedisde - a glass screen was the separation. Would happily go again but would need to choose a very diferent room.

Ideal for a week's skiing

My wife and I have just got back from a week at this chalet and we were really pleased with it. The food was good, they provided plentiful wine with the evening meal, lovely cakes at 4pm. The staff were excellent, polite and hard working. Rooms, although dated, were clean and the pool, sauna and steam room were also clean and great to use after a day on the slopes.

Very good stay

We decided to come to Lech after watching Bridget Jones (see separate film review). We were not disappointed. The accomodation was first class and the staff could not have been more welcoming. I have to recount the incident with the salmon...

One evening the starter on offer was either focaccia or smoked salmon. Of course anyone in their right mind would choose salmon, unless they were vegetarians, and nobody was. Some of the people, for example Toby Thomas (22), from Shropshire openly had three slices. The upshot was that the salmon ran out before the Whites, Noctons and Powells had had any.

Hotel manager, Sam Dewmey (23), was mortified. Through tear-glazed eyes, he announced he was going out into the snowstorm, in a scene that to the astonished diners looked like a 'Captain Robert Oates moment'. But not ten minutes later Sam returned triumphantly, smelling of smoke and with salmon in his hands.

The hotel has a very nice relaxation area, with a swimming pool and sauna although the pool is only about 8 metres, and the outdoor pool at the neighbouring Hotel Theodul looks better.

Bar manager Catriona (22) was the friendliest member of staff and cheerfully kept us topped up with cocktails and never ran out of ingredients, despite attempts by the breakfast people to misappropriate the citrus fruit.

Skiing the Arlberg

Spent 2 weeks here the last week the hotel was closing for summer and this will be the last summer they are doing as the owner is selling up As we where told by staff . Hope its better for the winter session.  Staff where polite but thats where it ended not very friendly for chalet staff did just the basics they had to do. Food was just ok we had  a room on he second floor with balcony but right next to the road very noisy . Not very clean and I never heard a vaccum cleaner the whole 2 week stay , on the posiitve side Martin the rep wad excellent,  as its closing down now there is not much use saying anymore just hope its better for anyone staying there for the sking this winter .

last week of summer

This Chalet Hotel in Lech is amazing value and is so well run by Christy and her friendly team. The quality of the food is excellent and with complimentary canapes and wine with your dinner an incredible deal. Lech is stunning and an ideal base for summer walking a really excellent week.

SUPERB VALUE IN IDYLIC RESORT

My wife and I, together with famly members including 4 children under 9, had a week in Hotel Elisabeth for the second year in a row. We occupied the same rooms as last time and once again had a very good week. It was great that, as in 2017, we had warm sunny weather with hardly a drop of rain.
As last time the hotel was staffed mainly by young people who were obviously eager to please and who worked hard and well to look after us. We knew what to expect and the only thing that was not as good as last time was the evening meals. Last year they were excellent but this time, while some dishes and one or two complete meals were v.g., we found some of the evening food a bit disappointing. But otherwise this family friendly hotel was all we hoped for and we had another lovely holiday in a beautiful mountain village.
We understand that Chalet Hotel Elisabeth is being sold and we wonder if Inghams will no longer be able to offer it to potential customers in 2019. it will be disapoiting if they are unable to do so.

A second v.g. holiday in this hotel

We travel with Ski Total and on arrival our rooms had been allocated. As I was travelling with my daughter who only likes a bath the team had arranged this for us.
The location is about a 3 to 5 minute walk from the ski hire and lifts and is very handy for shops. 
The food in this hotel was lovely with choices on starters and main courses made the night before. But the best thing was how wonderful the team were with my daughter who is the fussiest eater in the world. She would choose what she wanted the night before and they always said yes. 
The team were always friendly and accommodating the whole trip. 
A very nice hotel, run extremely well by a young team who make your trip enjoyable. 

Lovely hotel with a very accommodating teamwork 

You'll feel comfortable when you arrive at the hotel hall. Attentive service at the reception and in the restaurant. Very nice rooms, super delicious food and attentive, very friendly service. Location is non-stop - direct to the runway and shops/restaurants quickly. Just to recommend.

Super hotel with super service

We were in this hotel in February 2013. Top-kept rooms, very nice staff, short: all around satisfied Very good breakfast and within the HP top-quality dinner with 5-6 walks Very nice SPA area, not so huge but well made and perfectly well located Very central location! When there is enough snow (it is usually!!) ski tours and ride to the gondola!

Very good, centrally located 4 star house

The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The breakfast and dinner are just great. Especially Marion and all her staff are extremely friendly, helpful and will read every wish from your eyes. Very great is also the guest card that allows you to use every train for free. Marion, we're back to Toni!!!!!!!!!!
