Mrs. Bliem welcomed us so warmly and kindly that we felt comfortable from the beginning. Our double room was cozyly furnished, bathroom and room very clean and pleasant. After a long drive we were pampered with a delicious three-course menu, breakfast is rich, refreshing, among other things, with homemade bread and marmalade. We felt comfortable around. For the drive home, Mrs. Bliem gave us another wonderful, self-made mustard cake - super nice!

I feel good all around.

The Waldheim Pension is located a little outside the town centre of Mauterndorf. Very nice and quiet, yet you're only a few minutes' walk from the centre. A nice little walk. Ski bus nearby. There are enough parking spaces right next to the Pension, the rooms are all new and very nice. The bathrooms are spacious, everything is lightning blank clean. WiFi works perfectly throughout the house. Table tennis and darts are also available. The breakfast buffet must be mentioned especially, self-made products, everything is lovingly arranged, very wide offer, more super good coffee, we would never have expected in this size. The hosts are more than free, you feel very welcome. The price-to-rental ratio is here.

Personal boarding house, very nice, super breakfast, price/performance unbeatable

We spent nine days in one of the two apartments in the winter of 2016/2017. The guest house is quietly located above the place at the edge of the forest (a good starting point for walks), you can walk 5 minutes to the village center and 20 minutes to the ski center or 5 minutes by car. The holiday apartment is large (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), new and tidy. The hostess, Mrs. Bliem, took fantastic care of us, from cleaning the apartment (we have never experienced in a holiday apartment) to the delicious surprise we have found over and over again on our return trips, to tips and the rental of sleds and games. We had the holidays only to have the respect of others - but we should have heard that the breakfast and dinner was great too!

5 star accommodation

During our ski holiday in Mauterndorf/ Obertauern we lived in a holiday apartment at Pension Waldheim. Now, after our holiday, we would like to join Mrs. and Mr. Bliem on this journey for their kindness and helpfulness (after a slight ski accident of my son, we immediately received from Mrs. Bliem various salves and association materials).

I highly recommend it.

A very nicely managed excellent boarding house in a quiet location! Beautiful, bright, very friendly and clean rooms in great quality :) Lovely, very personal details, such as a delicious welcome cake in the room. Fast and unbureaucratic handling of arrival and departure formalities even outside the usual time limits - and more for new customers who have booked for only one night!!

A very nice alternative for a relaxing holiday without snick-snick

It's a very nice and very clean house. You don't have to eat in the place because the food in the house is very good. You put a lot of effort into making the guests feel comfortable. We're already looking forward to next year.

Holidays for skiing

Our four member family has spent 3 nights in that pension on the end of March/beginning of April. We decided about our stay at city of Mauterndorf at very last moment. We booked hour stay only 24 hours prior to arrival. We were given two double room. Mrs. Bliem responded fast to our requests and in English. Thanks to heavy traffic around Vienna we came later to the pension, after the official check-in hours. Mrs Bliem was still waiting for us. On the top of that the homemade dessert was waiting for us in our rooms. During our stay we had to visit local doctor (btw stunning, new premises) as our daughter cought a cold. Mrs Bliem was very attentive. To sum up, we had great stay in pension and we can highly recommend that accomodation.
