One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the budget, but I'm so glad I made this choice. It may not be luxurious, but is very warm, cosy and welcoming. My family and I had a very comfortable stay. It is slightly out of the way, but well connected by bus to the city centre, about 15 minutes away. I thought it was great value for money and would definitely recommend it.

Reception is a fantastic place to hang out, people are very nice and very nice and helpful.

The room was clean and tidy. The view from the room is fantastic.

You have a bus station that can get you anywhere to the town centre and all around.

Excellent 

Lovely staff, very good continental breakfast but at extra cost. Room clean, quiet and adequate although a bit dated and very magnolia. TV has many satellite channels and is great......if you speak German. Not much for the English. No night bar or lounge facilities, no evening meals available although there are some restaurants in the area. But there were also some worrying aspects. There arn't any smoke alarms in the rooms or on the landings and the reception area closes around 10pm and is completely shuttered off. The back door is left open for guests but no evidence of any night staff if something goes wrong or help is needed. On the whole, it was okay and worth the money. Its a 2 mile hike into Salzburg but we were happy walking.

Value for money

The hotel Turnerwirt is a short distance from Salzburg and consists of two buildings. The actual hotel, on the main street, where a gentle gentleman spoke Italian at the reception and where we went in the morning for breakfast, seems not to have a restaurant for dinner. There is then 50 meters away, beyond a stream, a dependence, a large and characteristic villa Turnerwirt, equipped with several rooms. We stayed on the second floor in a large family room located in the security equipped with a rather small bathroom. The room was nevertheless neat and well furnished. We were passing through and in general we found ourselves well for the night, however having to resort to a pizza (pizza) operated by the villa after a visit to the resort.

Good three stars.

We arrived to find we had 3 flights of stairs to get to our room (no lifts) - not great with a young family with bags. The breakfast was good. Transport was good as there is a bus stop right out the front. Actual room was just average.

Just ok

Comfortable parking, nearby buses, all right, clean rooms, Wi-Fi always on, breakfast a little expensive, but we can do it at a downtown bar.

Stay is okay!

I slept at this hotel on the night of June 1st, the first impact was very pleasant because strangely I found one of the people responsible who was very kind and spoke to me in Italian (it never happens even though I'm sure the Italians understand it but they often deliberately don't understand what we say) the room was very spacious and clean, among other things they also gave us directions to dine in a restaurant near the hotel with typical Austrian cuisine where we ate very well.
