We stayed with the Prantl family for the first time 20 years ago and we have been back for many years. This year we were very happy to be back again after the Covid lockdown. The apartment was clean and spacious and we had a great breakfast.

We come back every year!

Like we had an app for two people with a small kitchen line and balcony. We booked breakfast because it was more convenient for us. Sunshine House is on the quiet side of Sölden and you can start walking behind the house. The housewife's friendliness is great and we felt comfortable around. We're not skiers but we think hikers and skiers are fine.

Holidays with a dog at Fam. Prantl

The apt house location is very good. There are few various apts so one can choose small or big ones. We lived in two bedrooms apt with very good equipment, new furniture, well equiped kitchen, balcony, ... each bedroom has its own badroom which was perfect for our family with two small children. There was enough space for everybody. Simply very good accomodation for these who like to travel and walk in very nice mountain area of Otztaller Alpen. 
One general disadvantage - the house was not a partner of Oetztaller Premium Card so we had to buy it. The are many apt houses and hotels which give you this Card gratis. And I really reccomend to have this Card. The card is not cheap but is worth of tje price.
 
The apt house was not very good for families with children as there was no garden or child playground. Of course there were playgrounds some five minutes walking but it was not possible to prepare meal or read and leave kids to play. 
There was another disadvantage for familes with kid - We had one problem with a little bit complicated situation with balcony - the neighbouring apt balcony was located just in front of our bedroom. As the people living in this apt were really strong smokers we were unable to leave the window open. They very often have gone out to the balcony and smoked. They have started every day at about 4 a.m. and continued every twenty minutes till midnight! The smell was terrible and the window had to be closed everytime. 

The owners of the house were nice people, the Soelden city is nice and the house is located only several meters form funicular, there is no problem with parking a car, there are really many thinks to do or visit there. I can recommend this ferienhaus for everybody who does not mind smoking.
