The owner welcomed our suitcase upstairs, and it was carried by him to the first floor. Not to be overstated are the excellent evening menus that the senior chef cooks. Especially the soups with all the herbs from her own garden. And after the menu, the chef still gives his delicious spicy liquor free of charge. Then you sit down at the table and have a very nice family atmosphere. In the morning you have a nice breakfast that you can't miss. Super wireless connection throughout the building. Unfortunately, we've only been here for two nights, but the peace is a dream, rarely sleeping so well.

Dreamy - in every way

Among several accommodations, the choice has fallen to the Pretalhof. As we now summarize, the right choice. Friendly family care including parental support, perfect accommodation with plenty of breakfast and a generously prepared dinner! A respectful chapeau to the entire Leitner family!!

It's more than just relaxation.

We stayed in one of the little wooden cabins/cottages. The place was clean. And very, very well equiped! The bathroom was spacious with sauna. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom bad a balcony. Livingroom was cozy, with lots of wood. Kitchen was great. We loved the garden withfurniture and grill!
The hosts were also very friendly.
We had an amazing time here.
Not unimportant: the prices are not expensive!

Lovely place in a beautiful & quiet location

I stayed with a couple of friends in this romantic house booked directly from the owner on the Internet. We were pleasantly surprised by the host but above all by the cleanliness, the furnishings and the space available. New and functional furnishings, complete kitchen with everything, comfortable rooms and modern and clean sanitary facilities. Everything is perfect. Average price and particular important, even payment by credit card. Highly recommended.

What a lovely romantic house.

We had booked a holiday home on the fourth floor and were pleasantly surprised. The pictures on the Internet are not tuned, it was really a beautiful house! Everything still looked like new, very clean and well maintained, the living room kitchen was well equipped with everything in and out. Two bedrooms on the first floor with beautifully comfortable beds, a large bathroom and a beautiful sauna. Our other friends were housed in different rooms in the main house. These too were very nice, but very small and narrow. We slept beautifully, the tranquility was accompanied by the flowing stream.

A wonderful holiday home

We were on a hike to Pogush on the Brundtland walking route in Turnau. We rented out for 2 nights at the Pretalhof - a very nice and recommended neighborhood. Everything is decorated with a lot of love, very clean. In the evening we ate the famous trousers at the inn. Everything was just fine. The hosts are very nice and friendly. And all in all, it was a wonderful stay.

It's been a great stay.

The guesthouse offers a well-equipped double and also a single-bedroom. In the evening fresh trout are served as a specialty, in the morning there are fresh pastries and, if desired, also a breakfast sauce. Whoever is not disturbed by the remote location will find here a really good accommodation opportunity with a very good price-performance ratio. Right next door, 2 recently built apartment houses can be rented. I did not ask for a WiFi, so I think it is also offered.

Careful, clean rooms, fresh trousers and adequate breakfast

For a few relaxing days in Styria, right. The owners are eager to look after the well-being of the guests and you've already sat together on the terrace in the summer and chatted about this and that. Drinks can be written down and paid for on the day of departure. Rooms are absolutely OK and clean for this price. Breakfast is enough and if you want, you can also get your breakfast, as you want. It also passes the local courtyard, because the Pretal is also a cheerful place of locals with comfortable living rooms. Right next door there are new apartments for families. In everything a great vacation and a great alternative to tea Pogusch (Steyrhäuser), most rooms come here from the most beautiful roads.

Holidays in the Green

This is a lovely area to go hiking and has something to offer for all ages. There are easy, shorter hikes, intermediate or really difficult routes. We fit into the middle group and really enjoyed it also the wild flowers on our different tours.
The Pretalhof is a few kilometres outside Turnau. It is situated in the woods, very quiet and if you are lucky you will see deer. They offer different types of accommodation, double rooms, apartment and a log cabin which was only finished in December last year which can accommodate up to 6 people. We were 4 people so took the log cabin and it was really a hit. Tastefully decorated with livingroom, dining area and kitchen with all the mod cons. Self catering, no problem. A large bathroom with integrated finnish sauna is also there for your use. You can arrange to have a menu in the evening which is cooked by the senior lady of the house and is real good home cooking. One evening we had trout which was straight from their own pond and it was delicious.
This is a great place to visit with the whole family and what also speaks very highly for it is that it is affordable for low budget families.
