After finding this boarding house on booking, having looked at the photos and thought it was really nice despite the three stars, we booked for four nights. From the street you see a small sign, then once you enter you have to go up to the first floor and you see that the building is old and almost completely restructured. But the most confusing moment was when we entered the room. From the photos they looked spacious and new, but our room was quite dated. Equally confusing was the bathroom, minuscule, blind, where you couldn't even move despite the room being a quadruple. The main double bed was comfortable and was at the entrance where there was enough space, but then the lounge room is a very unstable room where the camera was sitting and the bedroom was in a very high position, but in reality, the second room was very difficult to get to, but we never had a very good time to get to.

There's a better way to go.

That we'll never see each other again...Room number three and to avoid windows with the handles cracked and the gutters cracked on the door...that we spend a little more...that we then say about the manager who during our breakfast made us look bad in front of everyone because he said we had smoked in the room.

Room was very hot - only a fan to cool it down. 
Bed clothes consisted of a quilt cover each but no quilt !
No hairdryer, telephone or computer point
No where to leave luggage on our last day - Gentleman on duty was very unhelpfull

Location - Excellent

Visited this charming B&B in May 2016 with my family (wife and a small child). The B&B is situated right next Maria Hilfer strasse in a quiet side street. Metro station U3 line is some 200 meters from the hotel which is great to get sround the city. Breakfast served in the hotel is standard but the staff is very friendy and helpful. Further on, the hotel is also equipped with limited parking facilities ( only a couple of parking places) which is very important if you are coming by car. Room was standard but very quiet with solid size bathroom. Shopping, bars restaurants, museums, and inner city centre are all walking distance from the B&B. If you are coming with kids I would recommend to visit Aquarium ( Haus des meeres) as well as Kinder museum at MuseumQuartier. if you have additional time Kunsthistorisches Museum is also very nice ( use the guided tour). Grab a Weiner schnitzel and Sacher torte and enjoy the day in beautiful Vienna. Fully recommend this nice B&B.

Fantastic location of B&B

This place has a very good location ,U bahn is very close (200 meters) there are shops and restaurants around.
Pension is an old house ,wooden floor makes noise every time you walk on it,breakfast   is good enough

Good Location

It's a great location, very close to the Zieglergasse street, full of shops and restaurants, metro at hand, it's a pity that the staff only speak English and German, and they don't try to understand people who like me don't really chew English.

Great x to visit Vienna

Spotlessly clean bath and room, basic but all you need for short break. Location is great, just few steps from mariahilferstrasse and all favored shops there.. Breakfast is generous with different type of bread, coffee, eggs and everything for the different choice. Bed is comfortable in austrian stile. Staff is polite. Recommended highly. Only down thing was the smoking registrator... the smell in common parts wasn't pleasant.

Perfect locatin. Good prise

The Anna Pension is located a few metro stops from the city centre, so it is strategically positioned to visit the city. Simple but comfortable and very clean environment. Breakfast in the average, but if you consider the quality/price ratio I would say it is to be considered abundant. There are many shops and restaurants in the area.

A magical vacation

Good but mostly bearable! The hotel is situated near nice restaurants, shopping area and supermarket. Rooms are basic but clean and the breakfast basic cold savoury foods and cereal. The women do a great job maintaining it and are lovely and kind.
However- my room only had hot water 3/4 nights(Luke warm mostly), a screen door missing,the noise from next doors bathroom plumbing atrociously loud, no safe in room or at reception, the local tourism leaflets are well out of date(most from 2013/14) & the reception man smokes incessantly in his office and is rude akin to Basil Faulty. If you can stay anywhere else-do. If everywhere is booked, it is an adequate choice.

Clean, basic, convenient

I was at this b&b on a business trip.The location is central, close to Westbanhof railway station and convenient to the metro and the centre (you can also walk there).The room was furnished in a spacious, clean, small but comfortable bathroom.The breakfast varies and is plentiful.The cost of services and the location is adequate.A good solution to visit Vienna without spending too much.
