We booked through the internet on arrival the lady in charge was very nice the accommodation would summarize the uncomfortable beds the ridiculous pillows the laundry of different colors the bathroom of pure yellowish plastic towels accompanied in the colors a huge spider if she was having fun in the room... Externally very nice but not worth mentioning also the area is very frequented by Arabs who in this period sincerely put a little anxiety!

Disappointing

So, we will review this establishment from two aspects. We though we had booked a classic Pension with fantastic access to town centre and lifts. Booking process was easy (booking.com) and easy to follow directions. We were made to feel welcomed by Gina, who politely explained breakfast and services. So far, so good. The room was very sparse and instantly reminded us of a youth hostel. A plastic module for bathroom set the standard pretty low. Well, we thought it will be ok. Until it was time to sleep. In all my years staying in various hotels across the world, this had the worst bed. A 10cm thick foam mattress similar to what you let pets sleep on. And a duvet fit for child. Pillow and duvet in synthetic material made for not only one, but two nights of limited sleep. 

We had breakfast the first morning which was good and fresh. After the second night with very little sleep, we went down for breakfast. It was full and we were asked to come back later. 

We explained that we wish to cut our stay short with four days. The lovely girl left in charge in the morning was left to manage an establishment without appropriate guidelines. We came back in the afternoon to settle our bill for two night sleep, which was quick and easy. The two girls left in charge of a building in need of investment, desperately tried to convince us to stay. Sadly, damage was done and we will not return, nor recommend this place to anyone, UNLESS the one thing that really counts in a Pension/Hotel matters, (a good nights sleep) it may be for you. For a group of youngsters who only want to party and ski, this may be a suitable place

We found a fantastic hotel who couldn't do enough to make us have a fantastic stay. But Pension Gudrun should retire, unless the owner invests in the property. Not worth the money.

WiFi was free and worked at times. Shower pressure was good.

The bedside lamp was hanging off the wall by its wires. Very dangerous and this was a known issue

We thought we booked a classic Pension

Nice room with very sunny balcony, small kitchen, but nut suitable to cook dinner. Bathroom was on the tiny side, bed(s) were good. Really helpful and friendly staff. Little out of city center but in good walking distances of major attractions, bus stop is within 100 meters away. Breakfast was really good. Overall a great place to check out Zell am See and surroundings. Oh, and there is a place to park your car. 

Good value for money 

We stayed here for one night, and for this period of time, the timber was quite comfortable - the conditions were quite basic, although the breakfast was very good.

A room for a short stop in Cel-am-Zee.

We were in 12 people for a bike ride around Austria, super hospitals like we were home and friends for years, in the morning we had breakfast with the owner, the hotel is near the center in a quiet place.

Oh, my God.

Amazing staff, Keith the owner is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and clean. We forgot a ski jacket and Keith was kind enough to send it to us the day after. Nice breakfast too, and overall just a great experience.

Awesome

We stayed here for 1 night, 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
Close to citysenter. 
We have a flat, better for a week or longer time, not so good for 1 night.
Nice breakfast, and staff.
It was possible to make Your own food at evenings and nigths.

Like a students flat

Unfortunately we had a small room under the roof, without air conditioning, with two small windows. We had to get on our toes to see the roofs of the houses next door. Two huge beams that had a nice effect made the room even smaller and the bed hard to access. The bathroom: a boiler that kept a lot of moisture. The breakfast room is also quite small. This is very unfortunate because the staff were very friendly and hospitable.

Well located

Spent a week here with some mates doing some skiing. Met by friendly team and access to simple clean room. But up top of two flights of stairs. Very helpful with sorting stuff out, such as trains and good recommends for restaurants. Very handy for the hill and with a ski storage on the way. 

Lovely little place in a great resort. Thanks Keith. My advice is to not use any websites as you can get a better deal direct.
