Hotel in front of the train station, very convenient for our commute. Tiny room and lots of slits from the windows. Bathroom big enough. Surely the rooms need a restyling. Good buffet breakfast even if there's no service.

Position and breakfast OK!

Hotel in front of the train station and on the main street of Leuven. End of good things. Small rooms and very poorly furnished, bathtub or embarrassing malfunctioning shower that goes on; TV that goes on alternating current blocking or not allowing vision. Personnel who, although courteous, seem to have been randomly placed there without the least training.

We didn't get along.

it was good overall, main disadvantage its that it didnt have very good wifi, otherwise it was prety comfortable and calm, very well located, and the breakfast buffet was more than ok, i would recommend it.

good option if you dont want to spend too much

Very friendly staff, beautiful restaurant with cheap prices.
The building is a historical hotel at a perfect location (central station).
A few minutes walk to the center of Leuven.
It was a very nice stay!!

Very cosy historical hotel, perfect location, friendly staff

While the room itself, which was on the top floor with a nice view of the train station, is passable on its own, it gets pretty smelly in there at times. I did not understand that at first, but then one night I realized that you can hear mice running around and making noises in the walls. That explained the foul smell and convinced me to never come back to that hotel again.

Avoid at all costs

The only good thing about this hotel is that it is next to the bus and train station. For those who can take advantage of it, well. The rest, well, that's very poor. Old, spark-free interiors, even poorer rooms, a normal bathroom, little furniture, no charm. Breakfast included. 130 € a night in a triple room. Where I come from, this is not worth 40 €. I'm looking forward to spending the night I hired, and I'm leaving.

We stopped here with an hour to spare before our train, we speak little Dutch but do try, our menu was in English which was a good start, but the manager’s approach to insisting that, as we only ordered one main and a side (the main was for my husband and the side for me as I wasn’t too hungry) we would be charged a sharing fee. 
I later clarified we wouldn’t be sharing and the fee was revoked but it made us awfully uncomfortable. It was also a very very hot day and we asked for tap water, we were told there was none available and to pay for (expensive) bottled water - we’re both students travelling on a budget so we ended up waiting until after leaving to drink.

We got our (oily) food to take out but weren’t offered a bag or cutlery, the food’s oil leaked over everything in our bag as oil does.

Overall we would never return. 

It is a nice building from the outside though!

Poor restaurant

There are a lot of positive things to say about this hotel. For example, it's just across the central station only five minutes walking to the district with restaurants and bars, and they serve a decent breakfast in the morning. On the negative side, the room is old, the curtains are worn out, and there is no air conditioning. The bathroom is clean but old, and the water from the shower does not run well through the well. We didn't pay that much for the three rooms, so we are definitely not complaining.

Good for one night

Booked here as close to the station which it was so that was good.   But the place is dire.   My double room had a massive bed but then I could only move sideways round it.   Plugs were hazard as sparked when used.   Could not open windows as pigeons landed on safety bars just outside window when open so the room was boiling hot.   Bathroom was disgusting when bird poo on inside sill.   Breakfast was cold, coffee cold, staff very rude.   Then night came....    loud Football chants from the sports bar then drumming by these people.  No sleep for 2 nights and couldn’t wait to leave.   I would have complained but front desk staff hard to locate.   Then back to station just over the road which as I said was the best thing about this hotel.

Horrible place

In the early afternoon we had a cup of coffee at the terras.
After a visit in the centre of Leuven we decided to have our dinner in the front of the railwaystation. The mussel natuur and scampi lookroom tasted nice.
Only the service was not friendly.
