Well, I don't even know where to start. The first thing I give him is a star because it's impossible to give him -10. A tip if you don't think of sleeping here. The downstairs room looks like prisons in 3 world countries, inhuman holes that look like niches, or concentration camps, dirty bathrooms and no pests, showers full of hair and no pests, the kitchen in the street, we were given a dove to sleep in, with a window without crystal or anything, the mattress was several blankets and a sofa cushion that I think they found on the street. At nightfall, pigeons and rats walk in and don't make a difference. At nightfall, a dove goes out to sleep in the upper room. People were sleeping in the basement of the room, watching the lower cell and watching the lower chambers, and I don't think the best places to sleep in the world are in the upper and lower rooms.

It's a very bad experience, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Good location (at old town), super friendly and helpful staffs, good wifi. The building is old because it is at historical place. It is an interesting and warm hostel (feel people like your family). I had very good time and met new friends. Recommend hikers hostel.

An interesting Hostel

Hostel with very good atmosphere! the guys who work there are very fun! the breakfast is very good...you feel at home! the rooms are very nice and well equipped. 100% recommended for motorists!

Very comfortable!

It's a medium-sized hostel with a large patio where you can enjoy reading a book down the fence or drinking a beer meeting people at night.I was touched by a night that they made a barbecue and besides that it was delicious with vegetables on the grill with herbs in Bulgarian style, it also provided a pleasant atmosphere besides that we were invited to rakia (traditional drink).The location is privileged as it is in the old town of Plovdiv and very close to the bohemian neighborhood with cafes, galleries and businesses.

Good location, view, breakfast surpasses the average.

This hostel has a nice view from the dorm, a cool owner and nice food which was included in the price. The dorm, accommodating over 12 people, has lockers.

Drawbacks:
- the dorm configuration was partly done as a 'cube' setup. This gives good privacy on one hand, but is hard to ventilate. Especially with a full dorm and hot weather, this gets problematic
- even though there are lockers available, hardly any of the guests bothered to use them. The result: a hideous mess of backpacks, flipflops and more random clothes on the floor. Back to high school everyone. Yay !
- no decent bathrooms; combing hair or shaving was in plain view of everyone
- this building has been transformed in order to let it function as a hostel. It is noticeable that this has been done in a very low cost option; bare pressed-chips sheet wood is not pleasing for the eye

Messy dorm, good location

Helpful, friendly staff. Convenient location. Credit card payments accepted. Strong WiFi. Basic breakfast provided. Lovely patio shaded by fig tree but fruit was left to rot on patio. Slept around 20 people. We were given clean sheets for bunks. Scant facilities: 2 western toilets, 1 squat toilet, 2 showers, 1 mini sink, triple kitchen sink. Dorm fan missing front grill, exposing spinning blade. Plaster sections crumbling in places in this old house. No covers on many of the foam cushions. Not a place if you want to sleep before midnight or so. 

Consider other options 

I liked a lot, too much hospitality, and very good people, i have very nice experience and the give a lot of service. If i return to plovtiv i will return to this hostel. Beautifull place and persons.

Very nice and too family

The hostel is situated in a quiet, but not very distant place. The staff was very friendly and helpful and treated everyone individually.
I really like how the hostel uses its limited space to comfort all the guests, it works great. And the breakfast was excellent as well. :) 

Great - as I expected

Perhaps one of my best journeys has been to Bulgaria via this hostel. Very good hostel, very familiar, very good reception, friendly and pleasant both the volunteers and the owner Todor or his workers During the days we stayed there made us feel at home. Very clean, cheap minibar service with (beers and water), the beds were very comfortable.

Very good hostel.

it's an old place, kinda run down, and the dorm rooms are crowded. The staff and the social atmosphere more than makes up for all those faults though. The minute you check in, you'll feel like you're in the company of old friends. The location is great, near all the attractions in the old town. It's quite far from the central bus station (took me 30 minutes by walking), but you can easily get a cheap cab nearby if you want to head to the bus station or elsewhere in the city. They serve free breakfast, which is always good for budget travelers. And yeah, Wifi was fast and reliable. I wish they provided individual lockers in the rooms though. Wasn't so secure about my belongings since one of our room mates was kinda shady. overall I had a pleasant stay here, mostly due to the staff and the other guests at that time. Would most likely stay at this place again if ever i'm back in Plovdiv. you get a pretty good deal for the price they are charging.
