Right, so its a fitness retreat, and you do alot of that.
If you want to get into shape, and do it in tropical heat, with cheap accomodation. Hey you found it.
Lovely room spacious, fridge, toilet/shower, big comfy bed, aircon.
The personel and staff are lovely, and friendly, but really hard in the gym.
I have to warn you though. You train and you train hard, so no sleepins, or late wake ups. If you just want a cheap room, with a bit excercise, this is more than that. 
You get breakfast, and your laudry will be done for you.
This place I reccomend for people who are in to workingout and sports, and for people who just want to get into shape.
Stayed for a week, and had three workout sessions everyday, apart from sunday which was a rest day. Everyday a different workout routine, Crossfit, Weightlifting, kickboxing, aikido, etc. 
A great experience and the Best workouts of my life. Thank you.

Get in shape

It's really a special place.If you into sport and getting fit you can really workout properly. Bodybuilding, crossfit, Thai boxing,... But the nicest are the people. We had some really nice conversation at dinner with people from all over the world.Pierre is really helpfull and a really good trainer. Just avoid is lowkicks. :)

The nicest place we've been so far in Cambodia

If you have time to in Cambodia whilst travelling and don't stop at the fitness resort, then you are missing out! Whether it's a short trip for rejuvenation or a long stay to hit specific fitness goals, you will get something out of this wonderful place. I first stayed in Oct, I booked for 2 weeks and ended up staying 2 months. I then changed my long-term plans to return in Feb and stayed for 3 months. I work remotely, if you are looking for a long-term stay to work and be healthy this is the perfect place and you will avoid the crowds and the price of other places specifically designed for digital nomads. There are lots of classes & lots of variety. If you want to make small changes to your lifestyle, stay here. Before you realise you'll make those small changes but much bigger ones too and leave with bigger goals! Pierre is a motivating coach and runs a great place that feels like a second home. If you have a short amount of time and just looking to meet great people then this is the place also, you'll meet people here that are motivated, inquisitive and exploring something more than the beaches. You won't find that in the hostels built on top of cheap drinks and sunburn. The gardens are lovely,  to read a book, work or chill out. You are not far from the beach, just a short tuk-tuk ride, close to a market with fruit & veg and good modern coffee shops. The security is excellent, the rooms are really comfortable and lots of little extras - free coffee, water, laundry, great wifi in all areas including the garden, lots of space and good company! Stay here and enjoy the great atmosphere. I'm already thinking about when I can get back in 2018.

A second home

If you are looking to get in shape while traveling, this is the place to be. The staff is absolutely incredible and they go out of their way to accommodate your needs. 
Unfortunately, I was only able to spend a week at the resort. I would've stayed for much longer if I had the chance. In one week I lost a lot of weight and put on a lot of muscle. The knowledge and skill of the trainers is second to none. 
Do not miss out on this experience of a lifetime!

Best decision 

I stayed at Fitness Resort for 3 weeks and had a great experience. The owners Pierre and Alan really care, are friendly and welcoming. I traveled alone and I felt like a part of them all almost immediately. I am working and studying while traveling so it was very important to be comfortable, have some quiet time, fast/reliable WiFi, great daily workouts and a chill environment. FR provided it all :-). I had concerns about there not being any air conditioning in the rooms but the fans and open windows provided an comfy breeze during my stay early-December to early-Janurary. It is a very natural and easy atmosphere. It was sooooooo helpful to have the free water in the room as well as the daily laundry service. Breakfast is included daily and is really fresh and delicious!!
There is quite a variety of classes and the training is for every level of fitness. Pierre, the owner, teaches the majority of classes and does all of the personal training. He is care-free and really gets you motivated at the same time! His expertise comes through the entire experience. Some of my favorite classes were cross-fit, abs, stretching and ball. I cannot write this review without mentioning the martial arts classes as well - Muay Thai, Krav Maga, English Boxing and Aikido - from intro to advanced, depending on the participants... and bravo to the other instructors. 

The area and beyond:
FR is set apart from the beach and influx of popular restaurants, bars, etc. but only a 7-10 minute tuk-tuk or motorbike ride away. In the immediate area, there are a couple of small convenience stores. I highly recommend taking the time to go to Otres 2 for the day. Also, the night market in Otres is only on Saturday nights - not your typical night market. Really cool, live music, food, etc. Must go at least once! Another recommendation in town is Sandan Restaurant. Simply awesome and was my favorite. Look them up and see their amazing reviews... and only a 7 minute ride from Fitness Resort.

It's a beautiful setting!

A great place to live and play sports or to come for sports. There is a Thai boxing and karate school. There is a badminton court and a ring for singles. There are three training halls. There are 4 bungalows and 8 separate rooms for living.

Living and playing sports in one place

It is a wonderful place to stay, a haven of peace, with beautiful rooms and bungalows built in a tropical green park 10 minutes from all the beaches of Sihanoukville!
