I'm a little late writing this as it was a month ago but we went to New Brunswick to visit family and found this B&B online. We prefer B&B's over chain type hotels. It was pretty easy to find. It's very charming and cozy. Well decorated and the room was very cute, quaint. Lots of towels, blankets, bed was very comfy. A lot of tv channels and the wi-fi was good, I was able to get some work done, without any issues. The negatives: I have bad allergies, specifically to strong scents/perfumes. The bed linen had a very strong smell of laundry detergent or fabric softener and it was off putting. Had me sneezing all night. Not wanting to sound overdramatic but truthfully,  the scent was so strong that I could still smell it on my PJs when we got home.  With so many people today with sensitivities to scents etc perhaps it's best the owner stop using it and make it unscented like other places?  Sarah, the owner  was a pleasant friendly lady but a tad too talkative. Second negative: We were very tired and really didn't feel up to talking so much. She tends to talk a lot about herself and we found it a bit much at times - but maybe it was just her way of making her guests feel welcome? The other negative, was the breakfast. Not great, very small, in fact not much at all. Good coffee. We ended up going to have a real breakfast an hour later, somewhere else.   If none of the above negatives would bother you, then you would enjoy this B&B. 

Good with just a few negatives

Our expectations of Miramichi were not high but Sara got us off to a good start with a warm welcome to the beautifully-restored King George: in an excellent location in easy walking distance to the (limited) local dining options. But, in the end, we had a very funny night with some locals at Chatters, followed by a memorable breakfast. My King George room was a delight. 

Wonderful bed, delicious breakfast

We experienced an exceptionally friendly host and a superb breakfast. Unfortunately the room was a bit worn out and did not come up to the standard of the otherwise perfect hospitality. The location of the inn was good.

Extremely nice host

We spent two nights in King George to visit Kouchibougac National Park from there (Miramichi itself is more of a tourist attraction). We got a nice big room, breakfast was excellent and the porch was very comfortable in the evening.

A pleasant stop on the way

This B & B was exceptional!  The greeting we received when we arrived was so friendly. Our suite was 
large and beautiful with a nice patio right out our door. The linens were of the highest quality and there were plenty of towels and everything else you might need for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, we were only able 
to stay one night.  The breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully.  We would love to come back!

Elegant but comfortable

Spent one night there , the room was very clean and the hostess greeted us warmly. The breakfast was very good and the coffee tasted like coffee instead of some places where it taste like colored water.  I would go back there anytime while in the Miramichi area.  I also would not hesitate to recommend The King George Bed & Breakfast to anyone.

Clean with great and warm hosts

We stayed with Sara at this lovely century home in late June/18.  Queen Mary Room was absolutely stunning.  Blues & dark antique wood including a fireplace.  Sara was a wonderful host. It ends up she was born in the same town in Ontario where we currently live.  AND the other couple staying in the b&b were from Ontario & we had mutual friends.  It was so much fun.  

if there was any drawback, the house is on a Main Street with a lot of traffic so we couldn't open the windows - would have been impossible to sleep.  But that's a small issue....I would strongly recommend Sara & her lovely home.

Lovely Century Home

It was not easy to find, but when we arrived, we were charmed by the house and its surroundings. The hostess welcomed us very kindly. The room, although small, was nicely decorated. The breakfast was plentiful and quite delicious. We really enjoyed it.

What a lovely house!

A pleasant break in this charming house, which invites you to take a break and enjoy the comfort of the place. The decor is refined, tea, hot chocolate and coffee available for free service are appreciated especially when the snow falls in large flakes. A beautiful evening, a good night and a fantastic breakfast. A very nice night, we enjoyed!

Found at the last minute, this bed and breakfast deserves a five star rating. The rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated and comfortable, the lunch is good and the service is very good.
