I am rating them a 5 only because there isn’t a higher score. I was a little skeptical before checking in because the hotel is not exactly in a prime location, however, this turned out to be the best decision yet. Doña Tere and Don Luis(owners and managers) welcomed me with open arms and treated me as if I was a member of their family, I was in Cartagena having weight loss surgery, and during my recovery they were amazing. Rooms were cleaned and turned down daily, you can purchase water, sodas, and beer on property. But what makes this place worth it is the people. The owner put me in contact with a taxi driver named Luis who drove me around Cartagena and was ready to take me anywhere at a moments notice day or night. Yes, it is not the Ritz Carlton, it’s a modest hotel with limited amenities, but the Ritz Carlton wishes it had this level of hospitality. If you are traveling on a budget and don’t mind the 8 minute cab ride to the center look no further.

Les estoy dando 5 estrellas solo porque no existe una puntuación más alta. Yo estaba un poco aprehensivo antes de llegar ya que el hotel no está en la mejor de las zonas, pero resultó ser la mejor decisión que tome. Doña Tere y Don Luis (dueños y administradores) me recibieron con los brazos abiertos y me trataron como un miembro más de la familia. Yo estaba en Cartagena por razones de una cirugía bariatrica y durante mi recuperación post operatoria se portaron excelente conmigo. Los cuartos son aseados a diario, y pueden comprar bebidas tanto alcohólicas como no alcohólicas en la propiedad. Pero lo que de verdad le da valor a este hotel es su gente. Doña Tere me puso en contacto con un Taxista de confianza llamado Luis quien se portó también de maravilla conmigo y estuvo dispuesto para atenderme a cualquier hora del día. Si bien el hotel no es el Ritz Carlton, es un hotel modesto con amenidades limitadas, ya quisiera el Ritz Carlton tener este nivel de hospitalidad. Si están buscando un lugar cómodo y económico para su próximo viaje a Cartagena y los les importa el traje to de 8 minutos en taxi al centro, pues este es el lugar indicado.

Amazing little Gem! Best price with the best hospitality!

The super friendly owners, we arrived without planning the trip and they gave us very good recommendations that allowed us to enjoy our trip to the fullest.

Excellent place to stay.

The positive points: the room is spacious and clean, the hotel is well maintained. The owners are really friendly. The negative points: the hotel does not offer lunch, no espresso coffee, no kettle and above all you have to ring to get out and in like a prison. The shops around are local. But for the rate the hotel is correct.

Excellent quality price

We stayed before at this place, as the owners look very friendly, we decided after our trip from Minca to go back and stay here. We made a booking through booking.com.
Sadly enough our friend got ill and we needed to stay in Santa Marta and take a plane from there to Bogota. As I explained to the owner that our friend got ill and we needed to take a plane to Bogota. He agreed upon canceling the room without any costs.
He just kept me in a vicious loop without ever paying the money back that booking.com took from me.
Wouldn’t recommend to come here again. 

Not correct

We stayed six adults in three rooms for two nights at this hotel. We stayed very comfortable. I think it's an ideal hotel if they're just like us, or if they're going for business, or if they're interested in saving on accommodation, because it's a budget hotel. It's a hotel run by its own owners, a very friendly and serviced marriage. It's close to the airport, 2.7 km away. About 3 km from the historic center, 6-7 km from Bocagrande. The nearest beach is 1 km away. Many taxi drivers won't want to take them, or they'll offer to take them to hotels, because the area is very quiet. It's true that the hotel is located in a residential neighborhood of a low-rise bar, so there's no availability to see the surrounding areas or have aesthetic amenities. There's no doubt about the hotel's amenities, but there's always plenty of room for everyone to relax, and during the day, there's plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the hotel, and there's no doubt about the

Excellent attention and comfort.

The place is very nice and clean, the attention of its owners is very good and they are always on the lookout for what you need, it has a zone to hang out and if you want you can bring your drink and use the bar.

It's a very nice and clean hotel, located in a popular neighborhood of Cartagena, the attention of the owners is more than good, it's wonderful people, the hotel is excessively clean, my stay was pleasant and busy, it has everything necessary for a good stay, they could have a variety of breakfasts, the neighborhood isn't very nice but it's close to everything and it's not unsafe, how advice: be very careful with taxi drivers, they're going to show you an ugly face of the neighborhood hotel so you can take you to another hotel and earn a commission, if you're afraid of the meter, the neighborhood is very loud but there's no danger.

Luis and his wife have a beautiful business. They are kind, sincere and welcoming hosts. 
The rooms are incredibly comfortable and spacious. We stayed three nights, each day our room was made up with clean towels and sheets. The air conditioning is a heaven sent. 
It's a short 2km walk into the historic quarters. As well as a short walk to a swimming beach. We walked everywhere enjoying the exercise and taking the city in. A taxi into town is only $6000COP. 
There is a kitchen which you're welcome to use, with a large fridge. Plus they offer a laundry service. 
It's so nice to be out of the hustle and bustle. Would recommend to anyone! 

Loved it

Super economic hotel, not far from the historic center in an authentic location, near the airport, ideal for those looking to get out of the beaten paths and from the tourist center that is only 5 minutes away and who want to know the real Cartagena. The patrons are charming and super welcoming, clean rooms, and a brand new hotel. They do not serve breakfast, but 50 meters down a small restaurant under the trees will offer you empanada and various Colombian specialties for your breakfast. In the evening still think about returning by taxi.
