Dani is SUPER nice, she's very attentive, she was always there when we needed help. When we had activities very early in the morning, she would give us a little dej to take with us. Really nothing to say the hotel is clean and welcoming, the pool is nice and let alone Loto who is the nicest dog we've ever met in Costa Rica! I recommend x1000

Everything was awesome.
Clean facilities, lovely pool, super helpful host, great location from the town and the beach, powerful aircon, hot showers. Just excellent.
We extended our stay twice.
Super comfortable mattress and pillows, not too soft, not too firm.
Also the restaurant next to the hotel was exceptional. If you want to completely unwind and just stop and take a breath for a minute, this is the place. Thank you Axel.

Just brilliant

The rooms are very small and in total need of renovation. The furniture is old, worn and scraped. The bed is terrible, the mattress was a disaster. It sagged and I could only sleep in one position because the indentation in the mattress. The bedding is torn. The curtains are broken and we were only able to close them with great effort. 
The shower head must be replaced, it is calcified. The sliding door to the bathroom is almost out of order, we were afraid to close it completely. The towel rail is not fixed and unusable. 
It is very noisy at night. Some kind of motor that goes on and off. 
I don't understand how this hotel works. 
The manager is new, a nice French lady. I hope she can change things.

Horrible

Everything was fine, a clean room, a nice hotel, someone needed at the reception, there was never anyone and for any doubt or need you had to go looking for someone around the hotel except for that everything was perfect.

I loved every moment of my time here! Patricia and Felipe are wonderful and welcoming people. There is a Spanish school and waterfall within walking distance that was amazing too. The rooms are comfortable, there is a pool, aircon, and a fabulous restaurant. I daydream of returning to this magical place! Thank you!

Great Place to Stay!

Lovely, super clean rooms with a nice little pool and seating area. 
The owner, Felipe, is a great guy. Knowledgeable, friendly and sociable. 
The restaurant is superb too. I would urge anyone to try the pescado con mariscos, it’s the best meal I’ve had in CR. The only downside was that I only discovered this dish on my last night!!!
All in all, a great place.

Fab hotel with an excellent restaurant

Simple and cozy location, very clean rooms, perfect for a beach getaway, delicious restaurant food, very friendly and friendly hosts, I would definitely repeat it.

Paseo amigas is a great place to go.

Is a hotel boutique, very cozy, clean, and with an excellent customer service.
The restaurant is near the hotel and the food is awesome and with great variety of options.

Excellent, highly recommend

We found this hotel via air bnb, under its former owner’s account. The brand new owners, who are Canadian, had no reservation from us and the hotel was fully booked. Jade (the owner) and her partner went above and beyond and situated us in a rental apartment that they also own, directly across the street from the hotel. It was spotless, and spacious with AC and a secure parking spot. Amazing service that won’t be forgotten! 
Stay here! It is also great location, near a lovely surfing beach, restaurants, and groceries. Very impressed!

Amazing service

Stayed here on a church mission trip to Refugio Solte and was pleasantly impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms in small Uvita, Costa Rica.  The owners run a nice Brick Oven covered outdoor restaurant next door where the food was great including a breakfast buffet. Haven't stayed at other hotels in that area (There aren't many) but would definitely recommend Hotel Luz De Luna.  A friendly Toucan perched on a branch to bid us goodbye as we left.
