We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this lovely penzion not once, but twice, and we can't help but express our delight with the experience. The place is impeccably clean, and the ladies who manage it are incredibly warm and friendly. We absolutely adore the breakfast they serve - it's a delightful start to the day! The WiFi worked like a charm, and they had a great selection of TV programs to keep us entertained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night's sleep.

Hospitality at Its Finest Albatros

I visited Cesky  Krumlov with my wife in August 1st for two days(one night), coming from Austria.I had chosen  Pension "Albatros" and  prebooked two months before, based on the very good reviews and good prices given on Booking.com. I was not dissapointed at all!! We were given a twin bed room up in the attic. The room was clean,charming with enough space for two and only two disadvantages: 1. Because it was a hot day(35 Celsius) the room was toooo hot and 2.The en - suite shower is not suitable for standing people short, medium or for godshake tall ,as you jave to sit in order to have a shower, because on top of your head, you have the roof! Otherwise, the owners are really polite, breakfast in ground floor was buffet style with great variety of goodies, parking space out of the hotel. It is a bit out of the historic centre, but for walkers like my wife and I, this was a joke! And the price (35 Euros) for one night that I payed is unbeatable!! I do recommend this pension for young and middle aged couples who can walk a bit,but do not take attic room during the summer!!

CHEAP AND CHARMING  PENSION  IN KRUMLOV

The staff said the city was a 10 minute walk but it was double that, walking fast.  The beds were relatively comfortable.  Breakfast room was over crowded.  Check out is 10:30 11 if you ask nice but at 10:50 they are asking when you will leave.

20 minute walk to the city but a good value

If you are going to spend the night in the village of Cesky Krumlov and are looking for something comfortable and economical this is the ideal place.

A comfortable boarding house a few minutes from the centre.

We stayed at Penzion Albatros for 1 night. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center, nearby there is a supermarket Coop and a small kiosk with hot dogs. We had a room on the 1st floor, windows were going to the parking lot. The room is clean, cozy, warm. But there was a smell of moisture. Wi-Fi works well. At the reception you can take a city map.

I like the hotel, I recommend it!

A simple boarding house with no ups and downs, friendly care and perfectly fine breakfast, the centre of Cesky Krumlov can be reached on foot in 15 minutes, private parking is available outside the house.

Simple pension in good condition

We stayed in this boarding house x 1 night during our visit to Cesky Krumlov. The hotel is 15/20 minutes walk from downtown. Spacious room, friendly staff and breakfast in the standard, especially salty. Free parking. As mentioned in another review only accepts cash payments. Wifi works a little too slow.

Not bad.

This is the first time I'm writing a hotel review without actually visiting it. I had booked Penzion Albatros through booking.com. However due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel. An amount of €48 was to be paid for the room. However when I requested the hotel, the owner graciously waived off charges. Much appreciated. I definitely recommend this hotel

Much appreciated 

On arrival the owner did not have our booking.  We booked on an online website - we choose this pension based on online ratings, free wifi, and inclusive breakfast.  

The owner gave us a key and changed our room from the attic room to one downstairs.  In retrospect, it was okay - but I was a bit startled at first thinking we had gone to the wrong hotel.  

Room was clean with cozy comforters.  The bath had basic linens - and a hairdryer was provided at the desk.  Limited number of outlets for charging things.  

The public space had a kettle and access to a fridge to keep items cool if required.  

We seemed to be the only guests in the pension - no staff onsite to answer questions during stay - so had to sort of figure it out on own.  Walking distance to the old town square.  Finding restaurants was simple.  Be warned - in the shoulder seasons, once the day trip tourists leave, this town becomes very quiet.  

Breakfast was fantastic - best part of the stay here - enough to please both the vegetarian and the meat eater!

Budget Accommodation - good value for money paid

Small, convenient structure without too many needs, very convenient 1 km from the historic centre, excellent and abundant breakfast, room cleaning only on our arrival (2nd stay), small but functional bathroom, friendly staff, recommended for short weekends. Free parking.
