This is a lovely well furnished, spotlessly clean and well appointed apartment situated in a quiet but easily accessed area.
Being close to the centre allows easy access to bus and train station.
The owners are helpful,friendly and speak good English.
This would be 5 stars but for the lack of a lift.
It is on the 2nd floor, but there are many access steps.Also the steps themselves are large making the whole staircase very steep.
It is not somewhere you pop in and out of.
If the owners son had not turned up upon our arrival I do not know how we would have taken our suitcases up.

The need for a lift

The apartment is a dream, very beautiful and clean (a garage can be rented for this). The location is unbeatable  quiet, located right on the edge of the forest (for mushroom collectors and hikers the paradise) and only a few minutes walk from the pedestrian zone. The Strauss family are TOP hosts!! Thank you very much, we will come back. And...., Karlsbad is simply a beautiful city!!

Maximum number of points for Villa Wingolf

It's very comfortable, very quiet, very convenient, close to the center, near the Billa supermarket, where you can buy almost all the food.

We had booked both apartments for a larger family gathering in Karlsbad and were thrilled. The rooms were clean, generous and modernly furnished. The Strauss family made it possible for us to have a very pleasant stay in Karlsbad. Both in the preparation of the trip, during the visit, and after we had forgotten something in the apartment, the Strauss family was very supportive, so that we will keep both the Strauss family and the Villa Wingolf in very good memory. We can fully recommend this accommodation!

A great stay

very comfortable apartment in the centre of the city next to the Government.  New furniture, fully equipped. Everything is new. A lot of cafes nearby though the kitchen is full of equipment. Good view from the balcony. Free parking

winter holidays

One of the conditions of our cheap accommodation was to pay the entrance fee immediately after booking, paid by the RayRal system. We sent a letter about receiving the money and how to get into the room. We had to type the code on the chassis, came in the dark, I even picked up the phone, but it turned out that the batteries were dead. They were almost on the touch, they did the job. They took the key, they opened the entrance door, they went to the entrance door, they went to the second floor, they went to the two-key boxes very close to the door. Then after two days of hard work, we came to the building. Then we came to the second floor. Then we realized why they went back to the second floor, they came back to the third floor.
