I chose this place together with my team to spend 3 nights in Prague and I must say that for the quality/price ratio it is worth it. Surely the strength of this hostel (private room) is the strategic location, because it is located right in the center of the capital, a few meters from the national museum.

Strategic location!

The hostel is very much like a guest house and you get your own bedroom in an apartment shared with 3/4 other bedrooms. In the apartment there is a kitchen and bathrooms. Make sure to call up reception beforehand to tell them your check in time because it's not 24 hours and otherwise you'll have to wait. it's worth calling a couple of days beforehand because we couldn't get them to pick up a couple of times. The kitchen is fully equipped and super easy to use and cook in although you will need a lighter for the hob. Great WiFi and a great experience. Option to leave luggage as well.

Great hostel

I would recommend this "hostel" for its position, but not for the service: there is no reception and it looks more a guest house than a hostel. Bathrooms are in common, rooms are big but not really clean. For a few nights it's ok. Remember to call the property before your arrival or you will find the door closed.

Very basic, no reception, but very central



Location - perfect location. From Airport take bus 119 and train, Mustek station is 5 mins walk to the hostel. Wenceslar Square is 5 mins; Old Town is 10mins; Charles Bridge is 15 mins - all by walking! There were several food stalls near the hotel.

Room - the size is huge and the room is very clean, we stayed in a shared toilet but there's no issue as there are several bathroom available. 

Kitchen - they have fully equipped kitchen with utensils if you want to cook and eat. 

Wifi - they offer very strong signal of wifi 



Perfect location! 

Centrally located and easy to find. Spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms. Jitke also very helpful and friendly. Good choice if you want to be close to everything. The street side can be noisy so will recommend having earplugs which we had :) 

Good location

We were very happy to have found such a cheap accommodation with family rooms. The location is perfect, as the hostel is located almost directly next to the Wenzelplatz and we could walk all the activities from there. The facilities are very simple and rather spartan, which didn't bother us as we were travelling all day long. However, you can share with three other rooms (I don't know exactly how many people you can stay there with. The volume of each one was also family rooms with beds, but not families!) the kitchen, which was right next to our room, a bathroom with bathtub and washbasin and a toilet with shower. We didn't have any kind of toilet with a bathroom with a shower. At first we didn't have any kind of peaches with companions in the neighbourhood, which obviously had to be done in the younger rooms and the younger ones, and I didn't know what to do about it. Of course, we could not hear anything about the situation. However, we had to do with the younger ones, and the more hands-only.

Easter holidays cheap but with a surprise effect

PRO: central location (very comfortable) and rooms even for a few people, ours was from 3 with a sofa and was very spacious. CONTRO: shared bathrooms were permanently dirty (the same residues I saw them for 4 days), as well as the room (I found handkerchiefs and papers under the bed...if there was even a cleanup, at least approximate, they would have immediately jumped to the eye).

Central but dirty... very dirty!

We booked and arrived at the Gallery hostel on May 6 at 6:00 p.m. and called the reception desk and the phone until 2:00 p.m. and there was no answer. We ended up finding another place and better and cheaper. and from the hostel Jitka wrote that it was only the next day.

They forgot about us...

This hostel is well located in city centre. Very easy to find a great restaurants around. The room is clean but not really well-equipped. it's acceptable at cheap price. You have to share the bath room with others, sometimes it is not comfortable. You'd better contact the owner before arriving otherwise you might have to wait outside. That's not nice as they aren't always onsite.

Budget hostel

The hostel is located in the center of the city. It's a few steps from Wenceslas Square. We have everything we need.
