The hotel was chosen mainly for its location right on the central square, a few minutes' walk from the railway station. The town is small  all around - supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Now the railways and trains to Brno go only to Kralovo pole, so it is better to use the bus, especially it is cheaper. On the other side you can take the bus up to 20 minutes to the beautiful Gothic castle of Perin. Yes, and the cave is not far away. It is a convenient place to stay. Good quality and price combination.

Hotel in the city centre

Stayed a few nights at this hotel for work. Room was simple, but clean and functional, though a lack of tea/coffee facilities was a shame. Though the hotel provides free Wi-Fi, it's pretty dodgy, and kept dropping out. The food in the restaurant was really tasty, the beer good, and everything was very reasonably priced. The only serious down side is that my room faced onto the main town square and the bell from the square's church rings for an awfully long time at 6am every morning!

Pleasant hotel

This restaurant took part in a Czech version of Kitchen Nightmares and obtained 2 stars out of 3, so you’d expect it to be perfect. Unfortunately, this is not what I may confirm. We had dinner there twice and my soup and trout with vegetables was nice but my partner’s beefsteak was really poor. We asked for wine and they had just one deciliter of not very good one, so finally we drank rose. Breakfast is a choice from menu- nothing against it but it’s rather boring- eggs or edam cheese (the Czech version) and ham. What a pity, the surrounding is lovely, they have a great potential.

Effort is present but not love

Stayed here over a bank holiday weekend and whilst quite dark around reception the rooms are standard for the country and have huge windows opening out giving great views of the area.  The staff are hit and miss but I have stayed here some years ago so knew what to expect.  The town is very quiet so it is very peaceful.  I stayed on the 4th floor which was very nice with swifts reeling across the sky all evening, really pleasant. Tisnov is lovely and it is only 5 minutes to the station.

Very large hotel in sleepy town

Stayed here for the moto gp 2013, from the thursday till the Monday and i would highly recommend this hotel, excellent price, short distance from the Brno circuit, rooms large and ery clean, bathroom very clean.
Breakfast was not buffet, but was to order, and very good, but if in a rush make sure youre there early as said you have to order your food, this isn't a critisism as the service was brilliant!

Really good Hotel

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 4 years.  It's located on the town square and is typical of these facilities with a small restaurant and bar downstairs and 10 - 20 rooms upstairs.  It's is clean and the food is good.  They don't speak much english and that has not been a problem for me as I have always traveled with Czech's.   It's quiet and has internet and the rooms are spartan but comfortable.
