During my business trip to Žďár nad Sázavou, my local colleagues recommended accommodation in the Kaple guest house. It is a great place that can enhance even such a strong experience from a tour of the "Santini" church on Zelená hora. Sensitively incorporated restaurant in the chapel of the former monastery, offering interesting meals, relaxation in the adjacent garden and, above all, helpful staff.

Pleasant accommodation, above-standard cuisine and above all, extremely helpful staff.

We've been here for the second time and I'm looking forward to the next time. It really suits everything! There's a private parking lot, the guest house has such a beautiful ambience, everything is level and style-painted and very lovingly decorated. The breakfast is recorded, as well as the light dinner that was offered. The tables are covered with beautiful white towels, cloth diapers with napkin rings, beautiful dishes and floral jewelry. Everything tastes even better. The room offers tea and coffee accessories, two comfortable seats, a good big bed, everything super clean and well maintained. I highly recommend!

Highly recommended

We stayed for two nights. The room was relatively big, one window leading to the busy main road, one to the courtyard garden. Bed felt narrow due to its placement int a sort round corner. Bathroom was big, the shower had good pressure, only one tiny shampoo provided for 2 nights. Tea making facility available in the “kitchen corner”. We have not tried breakfast due to other arrangements elsewhere. Parking across the road. Close to the Unesco site.

Small hotel within the monastery grounds

A beautiful setting of the place an old monastery , I think. Was here when it was snow and very cold outside. Place was quite. 

Room was big with a kitchen area. They seams to have also a restaurant in the warmer period of the year. 
Breakfast was a feast, temptation of sweet cakes and pancakes which varied from day to day. And for me very important, a good espresso!

All the cold weather and slow season feeling was forgotten by the warmth we where treated. Simply made us feel very welcome. Especially the nice gesture they did for my colleague. He had an 11 hours drive ahead of him, when he was about to leave did they come with a pack of sandwiches, fantastic. We are not used to this in Hong Kong !

Stay here if you have a change. 

A warm pleasant stay 

Friendly and quiet place with excellent wines, food and service. Food & drinks served in former chapel and it makes you really feel special. It is not a place for loud party, but for a nice few glasses with friends. It is also very romantic.

We had most amazing time

We arrived relatively late so there was some doubt about whether we could get some dinner but the one girl on duty did make us some food food, although it took a while.All the time we were eating there was loud music from a town festival next door, which continued until 10pm, luckily no later. Of course the hotel could do nothing about this. The next day we went round and saw what was going on: there was a stage for music and food stalls. Our rooms were very clean and well equipped and the Pension has been converted from part of the convent in an interesting way with an arresting staircase which descends into the restaurant. In the garden there was interesting artwork and a wonderful jungle of plants. One could have breakfast out there. I had a good omelette for my breakfast as well as lovely bread.
Parking is across the road but not far and there is a certain amount of traffic noise on the road side but the garden side would be quiet.The next morning they were happy for us to leave the car there while we visited the pilgrimage church of St John Nepomuk. The museum and castle looked interesting too but we did not have time to see those, although we did go briefly into the church next door.

An interesting place to stay in

For the unacquainted or the curious travelers. Pension V Kapli is a true gem hard to find. It may not be a five star accommodation, but your stay here will be just as memorable. A big notch above the rest, a unique place with an excellent cuisine, excellent wine selection and caring service.

Hidden treasure

Great historical ambience with very nice staff, beautifully made rooms and free stable WiFi. The ala carte breakfast is also very good. I would love to come back to the guesthouse in Kapli on my next trip to the region!

Small but fine

The rooms are well equipped, staff friendly and catering to international guests.

Sleeping in historic walls

This is the ideal deal for visiting the surroundings: charm, setting, cleanliness, facilities, impeccable rooms, exceptional breakfasts, and in addition the hospitality and kindness of the bosses. This establishment really and objectively deserves a lot of qualifications, the only possible inconvenience being the proximity of the road, but it is still through these roads that we are allowed to make such beautiful discoveries!
