The place is very beautiful, in the middle of nature and very close to the village.The hosts are the kindest, Raul and Mariela make you feel like family!

A beautiful and memorable experience!

We were greeted by the only working member of staff. 30 of us booked in but not enough staff. Noone came to change bin or make beds. Conference organised in dining room. Such poor service we were being given bowls of soup during activities. Dire staffing. We were also told that breakfast may or may not be served so we may have ot get it in town. Eventually, it was served but the experience was nice location, dire service in spite of efforts of single girls who was pleasant but overwhelmed.

Overbooked and not enough staff

We made a family visit to the hostel, it was a pleasant surprise to learn all the history of the place, the nature surrounding the hostel is fantastic.

The ideal place to be.

A perfect place for travelers, a place with a lot of potential. Very natural and ecological. My stay was perfect. A perfect hostel to recharge energy. It may be a little out of the bathroom center, but it's worth staying in and in the end it's only an 8-minute walk to the central chapel.

The service in the hostel is good, on arrival they provide an explanation of the different tourist attractions in the area, the only drawback we have on our trip is that there was a good view from the TV, which personally doesn't seem to me to be a disadvantage since if you go to a good place, you can always ask for help with the reservation for the waterfall route, which is something that is really worth it. A quiet place, perfect for relaxing.

I stayed with my wife in 2014, the excellent treatment, the clean and cozy site and the fine food.for so when I went back to the bathroom I didn't think about it, I ran straight, sorry the owner passed away and now his son regrets it.The attention is not what it was, the site is as if abandoned, the vegetation has eaten everything, they just had a pressure problem in the water but hey, it also touched us.And finally, at breakfast I got intoxicated.What a pity, what was left of what was left.I hope they fix it because the site is worth it.

What a pity there's room for what it could be.

The hotel proprietor is very knowledgable about the history of this site and gives wonderful tours. The spa is a health rejuvenating experience and should not be missed. While the location is a little distance from the center of action, it is tranquil and easy to access all the tours, activities and features a person might want to encounter while in Banos.

A Beauty from Antiquity

Room was clean and confortable. Nearby there is an old trapiche not working but nicely conserved. Also a lot of nature around with a guayaba (guayava, guava) forest. Our host was kind and helpful. Very relaxing, still not so far from the center town.

Beautiful place

After deciding with my girlfriend to spend the first few days of 2015 in Baños we do a search on Trip advisor and discover this hostel. Obviously these are different services that you will find all over the city at a lower price but the green and natural context for me is an added value. The staff is very kind and welcoming, but we always open up the reception hall to give you information, advice and to solve any kind of electrical problem. The hotel seems to be a little uncomfortable, and unfortunately, we have to travel for many days, and after 3 days, we have to get to the hotel.
