The confirmation email from the hotel stated that our room had a spa bath. On arrival in the evening the room were were allocated a room without a spa bath. We went down to reception and was greeted by some pretty rude staff. One of which said ‘they wouldn’t understand’ and walked away (We speak Spanish so did understand). After some back and forth we were moved to a room with a spa bath although the tap didn’t work, we went down to reception and again met with a rude response, this time the lady on reception laughed at us after stating the tap didn’t work. We were told to fill the bath up using the shower! 

On top of all of this there was no hot water, the WiFi is rubbish and the restaurant was closed at 19:30 despite a sign in the room saying it was open until 22:00. 

Avoid! Rude staff, poor facilities, no hot water and bad WiFi

It seems fatal to me that we would be given a windowless room to stay in for 14 days during the quarantine, not a day we're going to spend, we're a family with a little girl and we're going to have to spend looking at the wall. You can't offer a room like this for quarantine and worse without telling the customer the type of room.

The air con could’ve been switched on prior to my late night arrival. 

The heavy humid hot climate was not just outdoors but also crammed into my small room. 

The window with no glass didn’t help. The aircon when on, was directly above the bed and loud. 

Like the title says, the breakfast was good. Large room and lots choice. The hotel is large and swish marble floors deceive the poky hot room. 

Although at just 30 dollars a night I can’t really complain. 



Great breakfast, but...

We were picked up at the airport by hotel staff. All of the staff was pleasant and helpful. (You need to know some Spanish) Our room was a nice size. Clean with large windows and heavy duty curtains. We had an excellent breakfast. A lot of different choices and fresh eggs cooked for you. Enjoyed our stay. The one thing I did not like was the bathroom was rather dark. It had a small light above the sink that did not help much. It looks like the second floor is getting renovated. Over all a nice place to stay for the price.

Pleasant Stay

Another reviewer wrote about the 'spacious room.' We clearly had different rooms, as mine was very small, and extremely basic. SO much noice outside my tiny window at night, and no curtain on the window (it was a high window, so this wasn't a privacy issue, but there was no way to block out the morning sun). Not a single hotel staff person spoke any english (not common in hotels).

I had the reservation made by booking, and my assistant called to confirm the reservation because of the doubts.However, when I arrived at the hotel at about 19:00 it turned out that my reservation was not registered and they had nothing to do.The most amazing thing was the discouragement with which the receptionist tried to get rid of me.I had to get energetic and call the manager so that they at least tried to help me find a hotel in the area.A real shame as they do not have proper control.I hope I never again weigh in on such a bad hotel.

It was a disaster!!!!!

I stayed one night at this hotel.It is 6 blocks from the airport, I chose it because I would be in Guayaquil in less than a day.The area is not very pleasant and I do not recommend it if you like to go for a walk at night.Taxis are very cheap and for $4 you can get to the center.The shower was cold, we complained about this but the problem was not solved.The staff is very friendly.The beds are very comfortable and the room is clean.The breakfast is very varied and good.

I have reviewed this hotel last year and I was happy for the service and amenities it had. Too much that I had brought my workmates to stay there. I made it my regular place in Guayaquil. 
I came one more time this month of June only to fall out of love with the service. To start, I had made a reservation for a few days for a whole week with a work partner and I knew they had airport pick up if you ask for it, which I did. Upon leaving my flight I asked for pick up, I reminded them about it. They said they would be there shortly, we waited for more than 30 minutes. We decided to take a cab. At the hotel, I was received with apologies of the receptionist who offered to pay my cab, which I was too crossed to accept.
When I was given my room, I noticed the card key was perforated and it had a dangling key, which told me, the door lock wasn't working as it's supposed to. No big deal, but during the whole week, they never bothered to fix it. 
My surprise was more by the time I walk into the room, it had a strong cane smell. I was very crossed by it, but I was to tired to ask for another room. I also had already unpack as well. But the smell was my roommate for the rest of the week. 
The last detail, I had gone out to work on Friday and I took the key with me. But since I had taken the only key with me, they had not cleaned the room... so I came on Friday afternoon to my own messy apartment. Don't you guys have a spare?? I have to say that was really disappointing. But the final straw was the morning. I was really upset they left me 10 minutes waiting for my invoice, since I had already asked for it the night before. I could have let everything else slide, but the delay and everything it had happened in the end had become a deal breaker. 
Sorry guys, me and my company will look for another place.


It went from good to bad

We've stayed in the hotel twice April and may and if I will come back to Guayaquil definitely stay here again. Staff are nice and friendly and great customer service. Rooms are clean and comfy bed also we asked for Late check out and with no hassles Carlos at the reception let us stayed later. Amazing !!!! I will definitely recommend this place also gym and pool are very nice !!!

Great hotel, great location 

There's nothing wrong with this 3-star hotel very close to the airport.The rooms are spacious, clean and air-conditioned.The breakfast is like a buffet with a little bit of everything and you can make eggs and tortillas on very rich order!The service is very good and the staff is very pleasant and attentive.
