We stayed one day in this nice hotell on our Pilgrimage through St Olavs waterway. The room was good equipped and the breakfast was plentiful. All kind of various dishes to chose from. I can greatly recommend this hotell .

A nice " Avainhotelli" in St Kaarina

We spent 2 nights here, and while from outside It looks old, It Is a brand new One. Rooms are new, clean, well furbished and dark during the night! Breakfast Is great! Location in perfect between Turku and the National Park. I recommend It!

Perfect Place to stay

Location = Downtown
Parking = Outside free of charge in the big square
Staff = courteous.
Style = modern (simple).
Room = good (but NO air conditioning).
Cleanliness = good.
Bathroom = acceptable
Cleanliness = good
Restaurant = NO RESTAURANT (!!)
Breakfast = acceptable.
Facilities = none.
PRICE = not expensive
REMARKS = No air conditioning in the rooms. The building is quite old and the hotel does not have any restaurant. A simple pizzeria close to the facility.

Regular three stars hotel

There aren't many alternatives if you need hotel in Kaarina area. Hotel Kivitasku is an outdated hotel but it is still an ok choice for night or two. The rooms are ok but the toilets are very outdated. There wasn't air conditioning in the room, which made the night little too warm. I would assume rooms to be too hot during hot weather.

Breakfast was quite good. We could select this hotel again but maybe not if there would be more and better alternatives nearby.

Ok small hotel

The hotel is not very new. The furniture and the structure are dated. The staff are courteous. The girl who welcomed us as well as being very kind met my request when I asked if there was a place nearby where I could see a nice sunset. She sent us straight to a place that was within a few minutes' drive of a fantastic hotel! Known only to the residents, a fantastic show if you consider that in June the sunset in Kaarina is at 11:00!:-) We also chose the hotel as a support base to visit the Turku Archipelago which is filled with a myriad of isolates. We only had to sleep in one of those. The hotel offered a low price if you considered the hot reception code and the closing doors of the hotel. The hotel is very close to the hotel. The door is very close to the door and afterwards you have seen the most of the light in the hotel. You will have seen the hotel in the night, and you will have to enter the hotel with a beautiful hotel room.

Retired but dignified

Stayed in this hotel 1 night and were satisfied.  Brekfast is average, but you won't  stay hungry. Staff were excellent, let us stay till 5 pm, even though the check-out  was at 12 (we had a flight in the evening). The only disadvantage was a bad smell in the room. Comfortable beds, tea/coffe in the room. The bathroom' s  not that big, but quite enough and with all the essential stuff. Sauna is a nice bonus too).

Not bad

At first I was a little hesitant to choose this hotel because lack of reviews. After spending a wild party weekend there, I surely don't regret my choice! Rock Pocket is a hip boutique hotel located at the very center of Kaarina. If you want to be right in the middle of nightlife and shopping, you can't beat the location! On the other hand, travellers who wish to rest their minds outside all the urban bustle might prefer staying in some more peaceful place. 

Rock Pocket boasts with free parking and cable tv in rooms. Situated near Courtbreast beach, Old Texas pub and Evergreen lunch restaurant. If you rent a bike, you may also take a trip to the countryside and see the fabulous heights of Smoke Mountain. 

Among the business-friendly hotels in downtown Kaarina, I think Rock Pocket is the one with best price quality. The only little detail that disappointed us was that you have to bring your own bus hammer. But that didn't ruin our stay, since who would spend his vacation by smashing places into pieces anyway!
