B&B Le Pavillon De Beauregard

Interesting place outside of Aix. It is a bed-in-breakfast style in a very historic, old home. Our room was the "Superior" which was huge with a massive porch. There are only 3 rooms. The property is off a dirt road. Our room was well-maintained & updated. The rest of the house is very rustic & the maintenance I am sure is never-ending. The owner Jerome is great & very kind. He lives on the property with his family. If you want to get out of the city & want a smaller B&B-type place this may fit the bill. It is not a luxury property but has a lot of character. There is a nice pool with views of the countryside. It is not really walkable into town. Jerome kindly drove every morning & we cabbed or Ubered home. In Sept getting a cab/uber downtown Aix was more challenging than expected...I guess avoid 4/5pm ?

Rustic, historic B&B outside of Aix city center

We couldn't have wanted anything better to taste the atmosphere of Provence. A charming village just outside the center of Aix, surrounded by green and with panoramic views of the city. Our room was very beautiful and spacious, clean and quiet. The large private terrace was splendid. French breakfast was served in a very pretty room with beautiful walls. We appreciated the kindness of the owner very much. We will return!

That's lovely.

In early June (2022), we spent 6 nights and 5 days at Beauregard. I spent 4 months researching for a property with Provincial ambience. Beauregard, with its charming rooms and tower, period décor, and Provence hospitality was our overwhelming choice. 
    The time was well spent.
    The owner, Jerome Voeux, has retained historically appropriate décor, while providing modern bath facilities that fit seamlessly. Jerome was a gracious, courteous, and caring host. We were a party of four and wished two rooms. Because of our age, my wife and I wished the room on the ground floor. We wished the room on the first floor for our two college-bound young ladies.  Jerome said the first-floor room was not available for some of the days, so he offered us the amazing second floor suite with its huge private outside patio for the same rate as the first floor!  Our young ladies thought themselves to be princesses; they had much fun climbing the circular stairs to tower several times each day! Jerome was a gentleman and carried both their large suitcases to the second floor.
     The first evening, we were unfamiliar with driving to town, and were hesitant to drive in an unfamiliar village for dinner, so Jerome offered to take us to Aix, and we taxied home.
     When sunny, breakfast was served outside; when cloudy, in a tastefully appointed room featuring a grand piano, which my wife played after breakfast. Each morning, Jerome’s breakfasts featured an amazing presentation of fresh crusty dark breads, croissants, beignets, goblets of fresh fruit, whole fruits, yogurt, preserves, cheeses, hot appetizers, and fresh fruit juice. And of course, he offered coffee, café-au-lait, tea, and hot chocolate; the café-au-lait was so good that a second was requested each morning. 
   The pool was a hit, as well as the adjacent outdoor kitchen that was complete with dishes, eating utensils, pots, pans, and a large gas fired grill. We cooked dinner two evenings under the setting sun. My cousins were visiting from Sete, and I asked Jerome if it would be possible for them to join us for dinner by the pool. He replied: “of course, consider this your home.” 
   Our trip is permanently imbedded in memories we have carried half around the world… Ambience, grace, hospitality, the pool, the rooms, the breakfasts served with class and style. Our young guests did not want to leave but stay forever!

Paviiion de Beauregard: Classic Provence Hospitality

The room is very comfortable, very clean, the literature is perfect, the small fridge is filled with bottles of water, fruit juice... the room is very cool in the middle of summer without air conditioning. The setting, the garden a small corner of paradise, the house is in its juice with a lot of charm and comfort. The pool is very pleasant with an ideal temperature with a relaxing space and its kitchen corner very well equipped and very convenient to picnic with an impressive view of the mountains and the city of Aix. A cure for silence, of warmth, of defiance!

Exceptional

We can't agree with the overall positive recommendations. First of all, you have to know that the accommodation is well outside Aix en Provence and therefore basically only suitable for motorists. But since the city has a complete ban on driving, you drive two kilometres to park the car in a car park. The location itself, and the view from the pool (not heated! 20-22° maximum) is indeed gorgeous. The owner is also very concerned about his guests. But that can't stop the fact that there are some shortcomings. The biggest shortcomings are the Internet. The connections were very catastrophic. This is because we have to work from time to time.

Good looking cars need bad internet

Looking for a place to fall is never obvious and finding a haven of peace so close to Aix in Provence is even less so, and yet... what a nice surprise that the Beauregard Pavilion... the welcome is warm and sincere, the spacious and welcoming rooms, the delicious breakfasts, the swimming pool and the guests are so hospitable that we regret leaving... discovered by chance from my internet searches, I can only recommend this old hunting pavilion.

A delightful parenthesis

It's a little bit different from the photos on the site. The ground floor room is very nice and clean but the structure outside is a little overlooked. It's a little unsuitable season. The house is on a hill but it's really isolated and you're walking down an uncomfortable and dark road. Recommended to lonely people frankly.

That's very kind of you, but...

It was a beautiful and typical place! The room was perfect. Very clean, with very good services. Super breakfast. Just a perfect reception. The owner is kind and available without fail. A very good address that we had the pleasure to discover. I recommend.

A perfect grounding for an Aix-en-Provence getaway!

We started our journey through Provence and stopped at Le Pavillon de Beauregard. Everything was great here: a cozy house with elegant and cute interior details; delicious breakfasts (excellent buns, juice, coffee/tea, jams, cheeses/yogurt) in a stylish living room with the sounds of classical music; a comfortable bed with white sheets; a good Wi-Fi signal; our own parking lot; a pleasant swimming pool and garden; and most importantly - the owner of the mansion, Jerome - attentive, intelligent, ready to help at last!

It's a wonderful place.

The Pavillon de Beauregard is a charming place, on top of a hill surrounded by trees and silence but still 10 minutes from the centre of Aix-en-Provence. The rooms are spacious, clean and furnished with a nice mix of new and old furniture. The pool is small but beautiful and overlooks the hills and the city.
