Whilst the rooms are still clean and tidy this stay was really disappointing.  The restaurant food, previously the reason for returning was very average.  Steak had to be returned as it was burnt, when medium was requested.  Other main course, wild bore stew the local speciality, was over-cooked and dry.  The room over-looked the courtyard restaurant and the staff chatted till after midnight over a drink making the room noisy.  Sadly won't be going back for a fifth time

Not as good as before

As a family of 5 plus a Border Collie we stayed in 2 rooms as a stopover on the way to the south of France. We had an excellent check in experience and the rooms were perfectly comfortable. We had a fabulous meal and the whole team were very accommodating to my 6 year old daughter and dog. I left some clothes by accident on the room and the hotel graciously posted them onto me in France, even though this was entirely my mistake. Arc en Barrois is a charming little village and this is a perfect stopover hotel, or for longer. Thank you Hotel Du Parc, we all really enjoyed our stay and are grateful for your kind hospitality. We’ll be back in winter en route to the slopes! 

Outstanding!

Very nice hotel, nice spacious room, we're at ease!!!! A nice hotel in the center of the village. Free WiFi. Good quality kitchen. Dogs are admitted. Service is quality and attentive. General frame rather pleasant, original decoration. If you don't like the wildlife of the area, you shouldn't go there...

It's an oasis of peace.

Nice restaurant, welcoming staff, friendly staff, the map is quite simple, the choice is a bit narrow, but the cuisine is satisfactory and the setting is suitable for this charming little village.

Sunday in the country

If the reception is still as pleasant, the same cannot be said for the kitchen whose level has dropped. The cock with the beer is disappointing. We love this restaurant, so make an effort not to lose customers.

The restaurant ain't what it used to be.

Used this charming little hotel as an overnight stop over on our way down to the Mediterranean in May 19.  The hotel is centrally positioned in the village of Arc en Barrois, only a few km from the A5 autoroute.   The rooms are on the small side and simply furnished, but are clean and comfortable.   The hotel has an excellent restaurant with well priced local dishes,  breakfast was the normal simple French affair.   We were travelling with another couple and I think we would all happily stay again.

Perfect stop over

Super winter weekend of 3 days with my friends in Haute Marne. Isabelle, the hostess is great and her reception is super warm. The table is excellent, special mention of beef tartar!! a delight! The room is spacious and comfortable. The price ratio is unbeatable. A must-see address in the area. I will be happy to return!

The most beautiful place in town

Friendly home, 2 young people with pleasant service, professional. A setting that combines old and modern but the mixture makes it very good, you feel good in the restaurant room. The products served on the plate are of high quality and the quantity is perfect. A large selection of wines (white and red) in bottle, 1⁄2 bottle and glass. We had a nice time

A warm home, excellent service with a smile, a nice card to satisfy every taste, good price ratio, tables in a small interior garden are very in demand (you have to book). From chef and manager to staff, professionals... Do not hesitate to make a stop even at the hotel or the rooms are pleasant and quiet.

It's worth a look.

Spacious rooms with nice bathrooms, a breakfast room with hunting trophies...no problem because breakfast is plenty and the staff is very attentive.
