I stayed here as part of a group of 12 cyclists in September 2023. The hotel is conveniently located, very clean and Philippe & Valery go out of their way to make the stay as smooth and seamless as possible. The breakfast is generous in quantity and the evening set meal good. There is a large on site garage for approximately 40 bikes. All in all excellent value.

Very comfortable, well located, good value hotel with very friendly staff

Whether you like the mountains, bike rides, hikes, a thermal treatment, a trip to Lourdes... or simply a few days of relaxation in a quiet and welcoming place, you are in the right place! Ideally located within walking distance of the Argelès thermal centre, this establishment is a privileged address. The reception of Nadine and Philippe is warm, the atmosphere is friendly, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping is carried out daily by courteous and caring staff. The small lunch is served at a friendly table. If you opt for half-time, you will not be disappointed! The restaurants are varied and the quality of the food and the service is unknown by the fact that the hotel is located at the foot of the Pyrenees, and we have an excellent hotel.

A day to remember

It is a charming hotel in the heart of Argeles-Gazost. The owners, Philippe and his wife are very welcoming, friendly and always ready to serve you. The meals and breakfast are generous, which will delight the brave and courageous who go to climb the necks of our beautiful Pyrenees. We also do not forget the very nice and competent staff because the hotel is extremely clean, the bedding impeccable. Thank you to the whole team. With or without a bike.... go! Charming hotel in the heart of the city

What a pleasant surprise. I stopped for an improvised trip and it was great: warm welcome, very attentive managers, a very convenient facility for cyclists, in an ideal location for bike and rando outings.

It's a great time.

The clothes hanging from the balcony... cyclists who think they're home... you don't have lunch unless you're a guest at the hotel... low-cost hotel that will suit some... but honestly the reviews are demagogic...

Not terrible!!! Standard to see again

From the very beginning of my initial correspondence with Philippe I knew that his hotel was going to be great. He was very helpful, via email, in assisting me plan my trip, and in arranging bike hire with Tourmalet Bikes (who delivered my bike promptly on the evening I arrived for my 7-night cycling trip). Au Primerose Hotel is very bright and airy, and exceptionally clean inside and out. There are great, secure bike storage facilities at the back of the hotel. My room was air-conditioned, clean and airy, and soundproofed also. I slept well the entire time and was happily very comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful each morning, with bread, croissants, yoghurt, bananas, coffee etc. and a good selection of healthy cereals. A special thankyou to the cheerful lady who served the tables each morning and offered me 'jambon et fromage' with a lovely smile :-). Dinner was three different courses each evening, freshly prepared, well designed and just the right amount of food. As a solo traveller it was great to meet so many different nationalities and chat over breakfast and dinner, with cyclists and non-cyclists, of all ages. The area around Argeles-Gazost is extremely beautiful, surrounded by mountains and within reach of all of the amazing cols. It is a short bus ride from Lourdes and so very convenient in getting to and from Lourdes and the local airport. A glass of wine in the town square each afternoon after a bike ride was very enjoyable. All of this made for an exceptional cycling trip. I really enjoyed my stay. Philippe is a very pleasant and helpful man, who is eager to ensure is fine, always showing interest in my day's adventures. I hope to return and continue my cycling adventures in the Pyrenees...Thanks Philippe, from Declan 

Perfect Hotel in the Pyrenees

The ideal place to do motorcycle or bicycle tours around the area, also a couple trip Pueblo bonito con encanto The central hotel, pretty very well cared for with modern, spacious and clean rooms The owner was very kind giving all kinds of directions of the stay and place We who were riding on a motorcycle offered us a tejavana to park them totally free.
