Stayed here for one night en route from Italy to UK (Frejus Tunnel).
Delighted with the choice in staying here.
Host and hostess were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable. 
Enjoyed both dinner and breakfast - again despite being busy for dinner the service and value for money was very good.
Highly recommend.

Third visit with the new managers very successful

Annoa and Gaël welcomed us very well, the map offers several local specialties but not only. I recommend the Pierrot's Cottage which is simply extra! The tastefully furnished room is very clean. The breakfast is very varied and excellent. All this in a small village away from the noise! Thanks again for this good time. We'll be back! Veronica and Didier

You've had a great stay, nothing to say.

We stayed two nights eating the food offered by the Cascade. We still didn't know if it was a guest room or a hotel restaurant? The raw people told us that it was a hotel, yet listed in the guest rooms. Our room was very nice, but we didn't enjoy the dark, cold, viewless common room since this house is stuck in the heart of the village in a very small alley.

I could do better.

Nice hostel in Avrieux with very nice hosts. The accommodation is very popular with motorcyclists. There is the possibility to park the bikes directly at the house and also behind the house on a covered terrace. Cars must be parked somewhat away as the small alleys do not offer parking. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The bathroom is modern and functional and equipped with everything you need on the journey. The place is very small and there is no restaurant to eat. However, the La Cascade offers a table d'hôtes with three dishes to choose from. The prices are moderate and the food is very tasty. If you do not want to go to the modern dining spot (about 15 km) La Cascade is a very good alternative. The early morning and well-maintained is a good program with a good stand between the Grand Route de France and the Grand Route de France, which is a good one with a great variety of programs for guests, including the Alte de France, the French and the French, the French and the French.

Very recommended. Selected for the excellent strategic location, we were impressed by the kindness of Michele and Philippe who despite the language barrier committed themselves to understanding and making themselves understood. Very nice room, with handmade natural wood furniture. Very clean and neat in detail. Great kitchen as well and an additional compliment for having made us find dedicated gluten-free dishes given my allergy. On our arrival Philippe also recommended us to visit St. Benoit Falls which is reached in 15 minutes on foot and is an absolute wonder.

We had an excellent (too short) stay in the Cascade on the weekend of July 14. The owners are friendly and welcoming. The establishment is NICKEL!!! The menu selection is varied and the prices are very correct. Breakfast (included) covers all tastes. Absolutely no criticism would be justified against this step.

A step on a motorcycle

I booked rooms by Booking indicating arrival between 9pm and 10pm. Shortly afterwards, the following message was received from the Cascade: Sorry but your arrival time is too late. You can cancel your booking, we will not apply the cancellation fee. Cordially Michele and Philippe I called the hotel to know the arrival time and there I came across Philippe who I asked for the arrival time limit. I think this gentleman should change profession as a customer it is a zero point, because obviously I was paying him so much that I finally canceled my booking.
