We had chosen this hostel as the basis for a week-long visit to South Burgundy in September, and we weren't really disappointed. Contemporary architecture and the environmental commitment put forward kept their promises. And the charming young family welcomed us with remarkable kindness. Our bikes also found a tight network of nice little roads from which the Saone Greenway was easily accessible. Our stay left us a great memory.

It was a wonderful stay.

It's perfect for a family meeting. Everyone has their own room, kids' gogo games, bikes, slides, the river for fishing, bikes to get bread from the village. Nice little roads and well-marked hiking trails. We had a great weekend despite uncertain weather. And also local beer and a Macon village in the fridge. What more could we ask for?

We spent two nights at Bertrand's, Virginia, with their children. For our family, this was the first time we tried a guest room and guest table. What a wonderful discovery! This family is warm, welcoming, always listening. The rooms and service have nothing to envy in a hotel, but the opposite. The meals were delicious and are an opportunity to share with other guests and owners. We will definitely be back. Besides, we are already thinking about a future trip back to the Element Earth. Bertrand, Virginia and the children, just, thank you!

It's just beautiful.

A very warm welcome, a beautiful and tastefully decorated house, a very beautiful, very clean and very good bed, with a view of the river. The exterior is well arranged. We shared the guest table, enjoyed ourselves and had an exceptional evening in good company. An equally excellent and generous lunch, special mention for the citrus cake. Very good advice on the places to visit. Our guests have found their vocation really good and we look forward to returning.

An exceptional stay

Gite rented for three days for a family meeting (12 people slept on site, adults + children): very warm reception, gite designed and decorated with taste, very functional as well.

That's perfect.

As we headed south, we laid down our suitcases for a short stop in this haven of peace. There we met Bertrand, a guest in the image of his guest rooms. Nothing is left to chance, room and spot impeccable. Before we left, we were entitled to an excellent breakfast devised by Bertrand himselft. Copious, organic and ecological. A step not to be missed if, like us, you like to take a great adventure step to continue the road. But also a place or a small stay should do the best for lovers of nature and peace.

Just perfect.

We are traveling on our bike and needed to stop over on our journey.

We arrived and within 5 minutes wished we had book for 3 nights not 1. 

The accommodation is all done by the owners and is all eco friendly and very tasteful.

We choose to eat and the food is all prepared by the owners with plenty of drink to choose from. The food was fantastic Day no more. 

Later drink with the other residents by the pond is just a perfect setting.

Fabulous stop over

We stayed here as a stopover on our  motorbike tour and wished we had ditched the tour and stayed here for the week.
This is the best place we have ever stopped in- beds are comfortable, furnishings are ethically stylish, bathroom with great toiletries - but the best tip I can give is book to eat an evening meal. You will not be disappointed delicious home cooked locally produced food, one of the tastiest vegetarian meals ever(there is meat too for carnivores)
The hosts are so welcoming and make the hard work they clearly must put in, appear effortless 
We will be back.

Perfect in every way

Very nice reception, great room, rich breakfast, excellent price, I can only recommend! The facility is only two years old and built with great attention to detail.

The little way that's worth it

A young family runs this B&B, an old barn was combined with modern timber architecture according to biological principles and neat details. The reception was very warm, our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, there are beautiful outdoor seats by the river. Our dogs were welcome. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful, well prepared with regional products and affordable. We are sure to come back.
