This delightful cabin with breakfast is charming. Our second visit and we received a great welcome from our hosts.  Ideally placed for cycling around the area.  The cabin is en-suite with fridge and air conditioning.  Blaye is well worth a visit with its amazing citadel and ferry across the Gironde.  

A little piece of heaven 

We spent two nights at this charming chalet.  Has everything you need in a peaceful rural environment. Very nice hosts and excellent breakfast.  Easy cycle ride to the town for dinner.  Blaye has an amazing citadel and well worth a visit.

I reserved a car through Priceline and then Expedia for Advantage Car Rental.  When I got there they asked for a utility bill because I was “local.”  N one of this is in ANY site including their own.  Then, they did the bate and switched by telling me that mileage wasn’t unlimited as advertised and reserved.   I ended up not being able to get service after traveling 40 minutes  to get to the place and be dismissed with this garbage.   A TOTAL waste.  Would NEVER recommend them.

Home is both warm and discreet. Available and caring accommodation, especially during this particular period. The room is very pleasant and allows for perfect autonomy. The king size bed is very comfortable and the space is clean. Breakfast served in a basket and placed at the edge of the window, allows you to wake up in peace. It is pleasant when you want to take your time when you wake up. It is very copious and generous. The place is very well located, very close to honour.

We spent two nights in the small cottage. Very charming. Our host welcomed us very well and especially well oriented on the things to see and do in the area. Breakfast is plentiful and varied with homemade pastries. The cottage was very clean but requires a slight refreshment. (window closing poorly and shower cabin an old can. But functional.) Most of all is the swimming pool which is beautiful. The air conditioning is expected to arrive in the coming months.

Two nights in an unusual cottage

If you choose the small cottage and it is very hot, you may be disappointed because the night will be difficult. Moreover, the space is limited and there is (or very little) room to store your personal belongings. The bathroom part is satisfactory, even if the sink is a little high! The owners do their best to make you satisfied and they are full of advice for restaurants in Blaye and for wines. Easy access from the city centre.

Very hot rooms in the summer, no air conditioning in the cottages, we couldn't sleep, average lunch, the cottages don't have a view of the cabin, it's in a town with houses around, and finally we're not coming back.

What to Avoid

Good evening, First of all, for the rallyers since April 2019, there are new owners. Just give them time to take back this establishment. For us everything was perfect. Hygiene was exemplary in our cottage, breakfast was very copious; desserts are homemade (cooked in front of us), delicious bread, fruit salad is homemade as well. The owners are very helpful, to our attention and available if needed. The jacuzzi and swimming pool are very clean. There is space to park her vehicle. Everything is quiet. There is a playground with a children's home. We will return. Thanks to you, we have spent some unforgettable days. Respect to you, Belle and the children.

GENIAL.

Very welcome, very good breakfast with land products and homemade, very nice clean room and very nice decoration!!! The hosts are very friendly and they gave us directions on places to visit!!! We will be back!!!

I'm going to be a superstar!

We've been to this place three times, Veronica is hospitable, gentle, the cottages are tastefully decorated, the sweet, dirty breakfast is top notch, homemade cakes, homemade jam, the lagoon with the jacuzzi is beautiful, we'll be back in the summer to rest.
