In the countryside, away from all nuisance, a haven of peace and tranquility.Large and very clean rooms, comfortable.Gentility of the owners...but staircase leading to the almost vertical rooms, with small steps (the last highest)...no ramp to hold back during the descent > reserved for young people and/or sportspeople.... Otherwise, apart from this small restriction, the trip is worthwhile....Little lunch with the owner's smile.

It's perfect, but...

We stayed 4 night at this lovely guesthouse in the Gers region of Gascony. Very quiet and secluded location amongst the hills and farmland. Tinne and Patrick where the perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. We had a lovely spacious room upstairs. Tinne offered us plenty of advise each morning on villages to visit and she even offered to book dinner each night for us at local restaurants which was very much appreciated. Each of the three meals we had were superb!!! On the last night Tinne and Patrick cooked a beautiful 3 course meal which was delicious. Gajolles is centrally located to all the lovely villages of Gers. I would certainly recommend a stay here at Gajolles if you are visiting the area.

Quiet countryside in Gers

Nice house, Tinne is super nice. The place is a little lost in the countryside, but we found no problem, the GPS brought us there directly. Beautiful place, splendid view. super calm. Beautifully decorated with a lot of taste. Spacious room, very comfortable bunk. Nickel lunch. Super quality price ratio. A recommend without hesitation. If we have the opportunity, we will return with great pleasure.

A house on the hill, lost in the fields of wheat and sunflower, a warm and friendly welcome, a good meal and a spacious and comfortable room, and the silence... and if you want to vary the menu, the possibility of finding good restaurants a few miles away.

The House of the Golden Hills

We were looking for a quiet and romantic little place to celebrate our 32 years of marriage in the...32 (Gers). Gajolles is a real little corner of Paradise. It makes it really nice to live there. Tinne and Patrick welcome you home with a lot of kindness and are taking little care of you. You're right at home. Formidable and beautiful meeting. The very comfortable rooms are decorated and arranged with taste. Everything is very clean. The table is extra, juicy dishes cooked by the hostess (Tinne I will never forget your cleverness, certainly the best I've ever eaten). A rich lunch with delicacies that Tinne prepares herself (myamins and confections and cakes...) If you really want to spend 32 years in Gers GAS, please stop at one of our superb place in GA, and if you can't find a superb place for us (TINNES BOLJES)

A corner of paradise

Idyllic place, welcoming, warm and attentive owners, the meals are excellent and served outdoors depending on the weather... already cool in the morning to mid-September, in the evening, possible meal around the large table on the terrace facing a beautiful landscape.

What a landscape!

This year we stayed at Gajolles for the 3rd time! Everything is so lovely:  the beautiful and peaceful location, the house, thevery comfortable and super-clean rooms, the fantastic pool, the very tasteful breakfast and diner ... but most important : the hosts themselves! Tinne and Patrick are so nice! They make you feel comfortable and at ease. Arriving at Gajolles is like coming home!  Try it and you will see why we will certainly go back!

You will go back!

Gajolles is very pleasantly situated on the slopes of a hill, with a lovely swimming pool and terrace. Our dinner there on the first evening had wholesome homely food with aperitifs and digestifs included for 28 euros, and the owners kindly joined us at the start and end. The proprietress, T, seemed very keen to please, showing us folders of local walks and the game of Kubb.

However, T's kindness was very much on her own terms, and was very inflexible on some things.  For example picnics outside in the evening were forbidden, even when she had refused to cook for us, so it meant leaving the site or starve. And meal times were strict, with T refusing to change breakfast time from 9.00 to 8.45 to help my sister-in-law get to the airport.

Other niggles were: dog poo on the lawn, dog interfering with our lunchtime picnic, a smell of dog around the house just after the vacuum cleaner had been used, not being able to boil a kettle but wait for T to be free to do it, being "told off" for use of light switches and incorrect stacking of loungers (to prevent them being "blown into the next field").

Nice apart from niggling rules

Gajolles and its lovely hosts (Tina and Patric) are what you hope for and more, but don't dare to expect in case you get disappointed. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and in good hands. The house is rustic and nicely done up, very clean and simply decorated - giving a sense of calm and comfort. The lovely views are even better than in the photos, and you might catch a glimpse of the Pyrenees on the horizon. The hosts truly make the place, being laid back, friendly and remarkably efficient. Their local knowledge and extensive library of suggested walks and activities meant we had no need to ask anywhere else. You couldn't want for more. If in the region again, we would definitely either stay there again or make a point of swinging by just to say 'hello' again.

Get away from it all

In 2009 we have spent several days in de B&B Gajolles. We enjoyed our short holiday very much. It is a realy nice environment. 
In the morning you have breakfast we all the people who are staying in the B&B on a long table on the terras. 
We had a large room and because the B&B is far from the mainstreet you can enjoy the quitiness of the environment and the breathtaking landscape...
Tinne makes here own bread. Patrick and Tinne can give you a lot of tips what to see in the environment. We certainly would go back.
