Everything was perfect. A high-quality food menu, a staff at your service with discretion and kindness. A very big thank you to everyone. I don't understand the negative comments I've read about this establishment.

Dinner for two

Small hotel, away from everything, around three ponds. The room is not very large, but functional, with a balcony on the pond. The hotel is well placed for hiking. Breakfast is very good (and the restaurant too).

Family & gastronomic hotel

The bistro is beautifully situated in front of the quiet and in the middle of nature, impeccable accommodation and service, beautifully presented for the menu of the moment at 29€.

Charm and absolute calmness in nature

We were happy. We were wrong. First when we arrived at the reception, there was a giant bag of raw and cooked potatoes in front of the entrance. Well, why not. We sat down for the aperitif: a giant painting of the origin of the world reviewed in front of us. We wondered where we had fallen. An experience not to be renewed.

We are surprised, and after several searches we find the email of our friends saying that the gastronomic meal is included. We were going to order...So: this place is unable to know when you arrive what is offered to you. So this takes away bcp of charm and spontaneity! In addition, we are assumed to be ill-intentioned people, we ask to be no one when it was not the case. So I want to ask you a cocktail? or the boss: I want a cocktail: a cocktail that is inscribed as Cocktails without PORTASON! Then she said: Why didn't you treat us to a happy day and a wedding? And then she said: If you don't tell me how to do it, then I can't tell you that I'm not a good person! Then she said: If I'm not a good person, I'm not a good person, I'm going to have a cocktail!

The PATRON Wins a Wedding Anniversary and Does Not Rise Up

It is not a coincidence that you come here. The place is perfectly isolated, a green countryside. The slightly hilly landscape of this part of Haut-Doubs is also worth a visit, the area is superb. The establishment (a huge chalet with extension) enjoys a beautiful terrace facing several successive ponds. Very bucolic and very quietly resting! From there start beautiful walks offering some superb visual escapes on the green surrounding plateau. The reception is very friendly, almost family friendly but unfamiliar. The interior of the hotel has recently been renovated and decorated, it wants to be decidedly contemporary.

Recommended by friends, we spent a wonderful week in this charming hotel with only 19 rooms and this one by a pond. This hotel has 2 restaurants, one side of the bistro and one side of the food. This is the last one we chose and we regret it not. The five-course dishes are unstoppable. The staff is at your service and with incredible kindness. We thank the housekeeper Sandrine Boissenin and chef Jacques Barnachon who comes out of his open kitchen to see if everything went well. We will go back there.

This beautiful establishment is in the form of a large cottage and its architecture is well integrated into the environment (a pond in the Jurassic Mountains). Large parking with direct access to the reception and the rooms by elevator. Charming accommodation. The rooms are sober but well equipped some with balconies. Ideal to enjoy the tranquility of the place... and/or the gastronomic restaurant that I recommend.

We tried the spa but overcrowded compared to its size yet complete with hammam, sauna and jacuzzi two restaurants (gastro and classical) experience of high-quality gastronomy with highly processed and tasty dishes maybe a little fade map of very rich wines and at all exchanges breakfast a little classic

A Christmas Gift

Recommended by friends, we spent a stay at the Bonnetage Mill pond in Upper Doubs. Not disappointed, far away. Beautiful place off the main roads and quiet. Very pleasant room and very good bed. Very nice terrace. Cherry on the cake no very large terrace. impeccable home, staff with little care. The sommelier is good advice for the choice of wine. Hot dishes are served under the bell. The entrance to be sure to enjoy is the fatty liver made at home. We will return there. Congratulations to the chef and the host of the hotel Arlette and André de Bruxelles
