BEWARE OF FRAUD - I reserved at this hotel for one night in September, my plans then changed and I cancelled the reservation in advance at no cost. The hotel had my credit card details and subsequently debited my account. Three months later I am still unable to contact the manager to get my payment refunded.

This place definitely isn’t a hotel. It’s a large house that rents its rooms out at expensive prices. We were very disappointed with our overnight stay. The house is well located. We felt ripped off. Our room was very small with creaking bare floor boards. Bed was very firm. Their was no one there after 7pm, not impressed. This place I will not be recommending to anyone.

House sitter

A charming hotel within a few minutes walk to the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable and pleasantly quiet at night. We stayed on the top (3rd) floor which was fine for us but there is no lift (as was made clear when we booked) which could be a challenge for some. The breakfast on the terrace was fabulous and all the staff went out of there way to be helpful.

A charming hotel

On arrival at the hotel we informed the superior room we had booked was not available . we were given room number 1 . A room which required you to have the lights on at all time as there was only a small window and this looked out on to the guest courtyard and with the curtains open anybody in the courtyard could see in . we thought breakfast was included however it was not . we were charged 24 euros for a tea / coffee and ham and a slice of cheese and another guests left over bread roll . Eloise on reception was charming and helpful . We liked Bordeaux and considered staying another night and asked for a discount on the room for the extra night ( as we were not staying in a superior room ) the manager who we did not speak was totally inflexible and appeared from the staffs perspective to be a difficult person , I emailed him on my return he didnt read the email properly or acknowledged we had been given the wrong room in fact he was very unpleasant and indicated he thought i was telling a lie .and threatening him . 

Unpleasant Manager 

We have been fraudulently over charged by this hotel. They store and re use your credit card details after you have left. The hotel receptionists are aware of the fraud. It is not their problem. The owner/manager re uses your credit credit card AFTER you have left BEWARE.

As per previous review. The management here store your credit details (against GDPR) then re use to double charge after you have left. The management were made aware of our cancellation and proof of cancellation (from booking.com) but still went ahead and charged me for 2 rooms when only ONE was booked.

Beware of fraud. I got double charged

This establishment is simply gorgeous, with exceptional service, staff and warm patrons. The room is comfortable and well-equipped, breakfast is delicious (domestic dishes, fresh orange juice...) I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Bordeaux.

Far from Standards

It's a pleasure to be back in this magical place in the heart of Bordeaux, always warm home, cocooning setting and garden that gives you moments of serenity. A hearty lunch with homemade jams and pressed orange juice. We always recommend this hotel that makes a difference in the atmosphere of being well-dressed by the whole team. We recommend this place!!

It was a wonderful stay in this quiet and peaceful hotel where we were greeted with kindness and good humor all along in a very nice setting in the heart of Bordeaux (most of the monuments are accessible on foot!).

A haven of peace in the heart of Bordeaux

We are a group of friends who have just spent 3 nights at the hotel. We enjoyed it very much.The rooms are tastefully decorated and we lack nothing.The bed is very comfortable.The breakfast is very complete and of good quality.It has a very nice, pleasant, and quiet interior garden.The location could not be better.It is central but in a very quiet neighborhood.Finally, the guests of the hotel are very pleasant and help you in everything they can.A hotel is totally recommended.
