A family stay in the beautiful well-restored barn, ideal for a family of 4 or 5 taking up the 2 upstairs rooms. Simple decoration and good taste. Charming, welcoming and carefully maintained hotel, not to mention the swimming pool in the tree-lined garden. Very quiet environment amidst cows, horses and Roman churches whose area is very rich.

Warm house, comfortable, convenient and tastefully decorated bedroom, superb swimming pool, breakfast on a very friendly terrace.

Very pleasant.

We had to spend a night in the area arriving late and leaving early enough. From the first telephone contact the owners adapted to our constraints with great kindness and confidence. A relaxing setting, a tastefully decorated house and a very comfortable bedroom. Really perfect. At the right time, a rich and varied breakfast... We only regret not being able to sit down a little longer and enjoy this charming welcome... We will try to return to fully enjoy this magnificent area with romantic buildings and which is particularly suitable for cycling...

A discreet but very pleasant reception and a perfect room

We were two days away from a wedding in the area, and we went to the haystack. One thing is for sure: we don't regret it at all! Between the humorous and enthusiastic welcome of Nicholas to our room, which is located on the ground floor and very nicely decorated and comfortable, and the rich and diverse breakfast, we were satisfied. Finally, we enjoyed the place very little but it makes us want to come back for a few days in peace and spend time in this warm place.

It's a very charming guest room.

We stayed overnight but there were at least 3 rooms and other guests were using it as a base. All thought this is a wonderful find with superb hosts and good food.The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean. The garden (where we ate in the evening) was fantastic and so peaceful. This is a rural B&B not a hotel.
We have added it to our list of superior places to stop over on the way to and from the Alps

Delightful, Quiet, Peaceful

We were traveling with a small group of pilgrims and were looking for a nice, inexpensive accommodation near Taizé. Here in le foineau, we found it. The house is from the 18th century and reflects the charm of the Burgundy stone houses. The owners were very kind and provided us not only with delicious breakfast and even dinner, but also with many valuable tips about the area, such as visiting la chapaize, the Wiege Castle. We liked it so much that we wanted to visit the family again.

A great place not far from Taizé

We had an excellent stay in this house with the very warm and attentive welcome of our host (small independent room in the DRC with garden view). Nice decor and comfort of the adjacent common areas but above all a beautiful small swimming pool which I was able to enjoy a nice afternoon!!! Excellent and varied breakfast. Our hostess is charming, discreet but very efficient, thanks again (stay of 3 nights on 28/07) Nice visits to the surroundings (Cormatin, Cluny, St Philibert Abbey in Tournus, Louhans market, Solutré...)

Little coconut in the green

Close to Cormatin, close to the green road that connects Macon to Chalon this destination is really worth a visit, even by bike.... A very nice step in a relaxing setting, nice living rooms, beautifully decorated, a kitchen available and a four-storey reception! and that without the inflation in prices that we see at the level of the guest rooms and that makes us turn away more and more, the offers are not lacking..... I suggest staying there at least two nights as we have done to make the most of the facilities and living environment. and followed by charming hosts, open houses, and it is more rare to get the impression that you are not satisfied with supplies, the village is not giving you supplies, it is more rare....

A step closer to the green path

Because of a wedding we stayed one night, it was wonderful! The reception was more than perfect, attention, kindness, discussion, it was a real pleasure! We couldn't stay long with regrets. We recommend 1600%!!

Very warm welcome from the owners who do everything they can to ensure that we have a great stay in their guest rooms, located in a small quiet and restful hamlet. The rooms are impeccable and comfortable. Very good breakfast, plenty and varied: fruit juice, hot drink, charcuterie, viennese, fresh bread, jam and compot, yoghurt... 10% discount from three nights. Ideal for visiting this magnificent region of Burgundy, which is full of lavish Roman churches.
