We came together on the occasion of our 22 years of marriage. The kindness and professionalism of the owners, the beauty of the home, the beautiful and surprising decoration in each space, the delicious breakfast made to order, the attention paid to us made this weekend an unforgettable moment!

It's a lovely weekend.

How do you describe an experience that combines the beauty of a small French village house exterior with the inside conveniences and décor of a 21st century B&B?  My wife and I were captured the moment we got there.  And then there is Muriel; the host.  She is by far the ‘icing on the cake”.  We arrived a little early having driven from Cologne and not accurately assessing the time needed.  No problem for Muriel.  Our room was not yet ready but Muriel greeted us warmly, invited us in, and gave us on overview of the town and the area.  She also provided us a recommendation for a walking tour of the town and a recommendation to visit the castle (now a winery) for a tasting.  That fill in was wonderful and when we returned our room was ready for us.  The room was spotlessly clean with a king size bed (extremely comfortable) and an en-suite bath area; toilet, large bath tub, and walk in shower.  Plus, there was plenty of room for our suitcases (we were in the final leg of a month long trip to Europe) and temporary places for our day to day clothes.  Breakfasts were extensive and high quality and Muriel was always there to answer questions or to provide recommendations.  Metz, Nancy, and Domrémy-la-Pucelle (Joan of Arc birthplace) are all within easy driving distance (as is Luxembourg City).  The B&B is quaint and luxurious and centrally located to wonderful areas to visit.  We felt pampered, informed, and ended up totally impressed.  This B&B is definitely one to remember and to revisit in our future travels.

Excellent B&B and an Excellent Host!

I can't really put into words how much effort the hosts put into this place. Every little detail was spot on. The room was very clean and the bed was a dream. Never ever have I slept in a more comfortable bed in my life. I even asked about the mattress because of it and the host was really nice and gave out all the information I needed. Furthermore she was very helpful and kind at our arrival even though we were a little in advance and she therefore did not have much time. She gave us some insider tips on restaurants, sat down with us and asked about our breakfast preferences. The breakfast was absolutely lovely as well. They only serve organic, local or self-made products (like self-made jam her husband made, which was amazing). If you are looking for a place to unwind, but at 10 minutes by car from the city, then this is the place for you. I will definitely come back.

Best "Chambre d'hôtes" I've ever stayed in

Words can really not do this place justice.  It must be experienced!!  One of the very few places where the property is actually more beautiful that the photographs. Our room and bathroom were enormous.  The entire place is so light, airy, beautifully decorated and comfortable.  We were there a week and it was not long enough.

And, on top of of the loveliness of the house, there was the owner--Muriel.  In our 40+ years of travel--all over the world, every once in a blue moon, we have been lucky enough to be hosted by someone of Muriel's caliber. From the moment we arrived, to our sad farewell, she truly made us feel like family.  In fact, more than once we were invited to join her and her family for a meal or drinks. And, of course, every morning we had a great, cooked to order, breakfast.  She is from the area, so her wealth of knowledge was truly endless.  She prides herself on having numerous brochures for the area.

And lastly, the entire area around Metz is beautiful and a treasure trove for history buffs.

The accommodation in the French countryside is very tasteful and furnished with attention to detail. We were very friendly and cared for.

We were aware of the excellent reputation of this establishment and we were not disappointed!!!very good delicious and original meal, very nice setting, cozy and charming atmosphere with carefully staffed!I highly recommend this restaurant worth a visit!!

A beautifully decorated house held by a friendly and warm couple, a very beautiful, spacious room furnished with taste, a huge shower, a small top, our hostess took the time to find out what would please us.

Beautifully uncovered

The house is nicely decorated with taste by the owner. The room is showery and very comfortable. The equipment is complete. The owner is very hospitable and full of advice. There are covered parking spaces.

The host is nice, helpful and very professional. She made sure we had a wonderful stay. 
The rooms are amazing: very big in size and very well styled. 
Breakfast is great. There’s nature around for a good hike but you’re also super close to the city of Metz
