First of all, a very warm welcome, we who came from so far away. An ideal place for those who wish to rest and take a walk in the countryside or the forest nearby. Breakfast is generous. The comfort of the beds invites us to stay a little longer! Thank you again to the hostess, kind fairy of this enchanting place, thank you for her smile and sincere kindness. An address where we wish to return to stay a little longer!

A wonderful stay far too short

This was our first chamber d'hôte to be stayed in during our trip to France. We were warmly welcomed and our room was clean, comfortable and well fitted out. It was pleasure to walk through the gardens and admire the thatched roof of the house. Monet's garden is close by (about 20 mins drive at the most). No complaints.

A great way to start off!

In the wake of bitter criticisms made hot (certainly corrupted by Parisian life), we would like to make a remark to our last opinion: we agree that we may not have been able to let go of the simplicity and correctness of reception and services, and that it is still very difficult to meet the expectations of the ridiculous. Thank you for your understanding.

My mom and I stayed here July 2013, so I am well voerdue to right this review but meant to as this is simply a lovely home.  Unlike many B&Bs, there are only two rooms here, so it is very quiet and private.  My mom and I stayed in the room with the two twin beds and it was perfect.  Fyi-the steps to the second floor are quite steep, but well worth it.  The home and location are just gorgeous.  The absolute best part, which I didn't see broadly advertised was the chance to have Genevieve make dinner for us.  For a very fair price(maybe $30/person? I don't recall exactly other than thinking it was very fair) she created a delicious several course meal for us and set a lovely table in their back garden.  She even served apertifs and wine and of course dessert.  She was extremely quick to respond and helped us with directions to Versailles the next morning.  We only wish we could have stayed another night or two and would not hesitate to return or recommend this home to someone else.

Lovely thatched roof home

In a typical basement, two beautifully decorated upstairs rooms. Nice garden, and a rich and varied breakfast (fresh fruit juice, homemade yogurt,...) served in a clear veranda.

Quiet and green

In a small village a short distance from Giverny, this accommodation is a beautiful little house immersed in the green of its very neat garden. The hostess has an exquisite kindness to welcome and offer breakfast on the veranda, with homemade porcelain and marmalades. The triple room was furnished like a doll house, spacious and clean. you need to have your own car. Really excellent!

Madame Genevieve is a very kind person and her house is really nice. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. 
The location of the house is good , very close to Monet's house and garden in Giverny . 
WIFI only available in the terrace downstairs and not in the rooms it was a minus .

Nice house and convenient location

We stayed two nights in this guest house, the reception was very friendly, the bedroom decorated with very comfortable bedding taste, just the bathroom in the three-person room was a little small. The breakfast was very cozy with smoothie the setting was nice and quiet. We recommend this guest house. The fare for 2 is cheaper than a lowcost room. We didn't encounter any problems with schedules, because we had the keys to the house to go in at night.

The Norman gentleman

We stayed one night in this beautiful house with a quiet straw roof. The reception was very pleasant, the owner is very kind. The room was impeccable and the royal breakfast (domestic yoghurt as well as fresh fruit juice mixed). We recommend this place near giverny and vernon.
