Welcome to the ropes...no explanation about the area, no information about the market that was singing merle the same evening and we found out about it the next day.....Mrs. didn't leave so the time, clean room and good bedding, bathroom too, swimming pool not cleaned and not heated so no bathing despite the sun, breakfast worthy of a cafeteria and again....cafe senseo, only 1 small slice of butter, no fruits, so the place and the building are nice but it's definitely not worth the asking price......

Surface is too expensive

A nice and simple place. Very well  managed. The owners are nice and helpful . Pleasant pool. It can be very hot in Provence . Relaxing breakfast in the garden. Rooms are very basic. It is nicely positioned to visit a region rich of very interesting places . Do not miss the castle in grignan

peaceful and pleasant, all there is to spend a good weekend in the quiet, surrounded by greenery, beautiful walks to do and monuments to visit (Castle de Mme de Sevigné must see absolutely)

No air conditioning, pretty ordinary rooms, nothing special for the price, frugal dinner for the asking price, even if not a glass of water has arrived the place is still very quiet and the owner is taking care of your little ones

This is a quiet place, a nice place to stay for a few days, and the landlord is very hospitable and always willing to make our stay pleasant, and the pool and the surrounding area allow us to relax. I recommend this place so that you won't be disappointed in all of it.

It's very nice.

Returning to the Provencal Drôme, we arrived at the Poets' Mass in Chantemerle-les-Grignan, a few steps from the Château de Mme de Sévigné... Accompanied in a good mood by a friend of our host (whom we greet with a friendly welcome...), we discovered the site: entrance populated with truffle oak trees, large body of stone dwellings, beautiful and large pool, our room is located at the back... This is spacious, soberly decorated with grey and purple... A little oak, decorated with a small round, throne in the shadow of an old oak... A small lunch table, with very fresh produce.

What a quiet...

We felt very welcome throughout our stay.
The host was very kind, professional and funny at times. He and his staff made themselves very available. Dinner was in the best "table d'hôtes" spirit.
High standard bedrooms and a vast and practical main area to relax and eat.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Charm and warmth of Provence

The host is very friendly and social but in some ways you can feel the lack of a woman’s touch over the place. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and good size but very simple. Dark red bed linen makes me always wonder about its cleanness. Towels were also in various shades of white. The bed was of the harder type for our taste but we slept OK. 
The surroundings of the rooms and particularly at the entrance were full of leaves from last season which gave a poor impression of the exterior terrace in front of the room.  However the pool area is well maintained and the pool itself is clean. 
The place is really in the middle of the countryside which really guaranties calm and quiet surroundings. 
In all, given the countryside position of the place and the simplicity of the rooms, the price feels a bit high.

Calm and quiet countryside but at a price

The rooms were clean and are nicely decorated. The breakfast is varied and wonderfully set on the terrace. The pool is open till the evening and clean. The self-serve bar is great as you can always get a late-night-dring from there. And Frederik is a perfect host - always with a wonderful grin on. Just makes you feel welcome and happy to be on vacation. Thanks! We had a great time. We sure will be back.

Stunning setting, beautiful old stone lodgings equipped with all modern comfort
Nice swimming pool and warm welcome by its charming host, Frederik who knows the beautiful region by heart and has lots of interesting tips (Frederic apparently also runs a guided-tours company in his Belgian hometown, Brugge)
Loved the stay with my son of 9, we did lots of cycling (watch out the hills are steep), visited the romantic 'provence' markets, a crocodile farm and had some magical evenings around an outdoor 'camp' fire just in front of the lodge while listening to the guitars of other guests
This b&b delivers what a stay in the provence is all about; the easy going french 'savoir vivre'
