A nice surprise that this hotel is on the Loire. The charm of an old railway station, the luxury of a large hotel and a warm, very attentive reception. The rooms are upstairs, without an elevator but the hotel description mentions that it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. The owner offered to pack the suitcases. We spared her; having used charming hotels, often in old buildings without an elevator, we try to travel with light luggage.

Hotel very, very, very good!!!

Very charming hotel, recently renovated with a lot of taste. Well situated on the banks of the Loire, in the city centre and very quiet. Many seals and amenities worthy of a top-class hotel. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, air conditioned and the bed very comfortable. The nice breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of local products and the lady who takes care of it is very attentive. Taking breakfast on the nice terrace is really pleasant. The reception is perfect.

Super nice bed room, top bathroom! excellent lunch, plenty of food, super good products (pressed orange juice) The bar next door is also very nice.

Very nice hotel overlooking the Loire. Very convenient to find the greenway or other walks. The coffee house next to the Loire is also on the Loire with a very nice shaded terrace and is managed by the same owners, David and Emilie.

Unfortunately, this very nice hotel with the great restaurant is for sale from the end of September 2022. We were there to see what was going on, but there were no notes with more information hanging there.

This is really the best place to stay at Digoin, especially after rooms renovation.
The new design, nice colors, excellent AC, very-very comfortable bed.
Try to reserve room with river view and balcony.
Wi-Fi signal was not very strong in our room, but near reception and in public areas - no problem.

Best place to stay at Digoin

We enjoyed a large room with a terrace. The room was very clean. Two weak points: difficult access to the ground floor and soundproofing of the room.

Well-placed hotel

We were in room 8, very spacious, very comfortable bed, it also has a large balcony with the Loire at the back. The hotel's restaurant is also excellent! The conviviality of the staff and the manager is a real asset of this hotel. We will happily return to this charming hotel!

Very nice stay in this charming hotel

The bed was very comfortable in a narrow room and the roller coaster was not working. Very narrow and poorly arranged bathroom.
