On the advice of our son and our beautiful daughter, who had loved their stay in July, we spent 3 days at the Villa St Jean and also fell under the spell! warm and very pro welcome from Magali which provides good ideas and advice to facilitate and enhance our stay. Excellent value for money for this charming guest house, very well located in Granville because it is extremely quiet while allowing you to reach all the interesting sites on foot.

A charming address very well located

An excellent charming address if you want to visit Granville and its surroundings while enjoying a very quiet and beautifully decorated place with the colours of the sea. The heated swimming pool and transepts also allow you to relax between 2 visits. The bedding is excellent, the cleanliness impeccable. A rich breakfast accompanied by sweets that change every day. Finally we followed all the advice of Magali, the charming owner, both in terms of visits and catering and we were never disappointed. An address not to be missed if you visit the area.

Kindness, Calmness, and Joy

Stay offered by my parents for my birthday. Stayed as a couple. The guest room is really very well located in Granville. There is no risk of being awakened by cars, but rather by the gulls which is much more pleasant! The decoration is really refined! Too bad time didn't suck for a little head in the pool which was just in front of our room. Magali is really very welcoming and good advice for visiting the corner and for restaurants!!!

Quiet guest rooms

I confirm most of the negative reviews submitted by the previous contributors and I add my own contribution: - access to the guest house; the very narrow road is restricted, and cars must be parked 200 m from the entrance. - few storage in the room: just a small dresser with 3 drawers, and no place to put the suitcase. - bathroom products: just a liquid soap in the shower and another in the sink. - small breakfasts when the guest house is limited, 2 mini-villas: a small reception room where you can spend a lot of time on a hot tub, a nice restaurant and a nice restaurant. - I'm going to give you an opinion, and I'm going to give you an opinion, so if you've ever come to the hotel, I'll give you a recommendation.

A major disappointment

It's a very quiet place, very warm reception, everything is done to make the time pleasant while remaining very discreet, spacious room, very nicely decorated, very quiet place, impeccable cleanliness, beautiful garden surrounded by a beautiful swimming pool, ideal for visiting the area, we sincerely recommend the St. John's house. We had a very pleasant stay at the Villa Saint Jean. The place is like the owners: pleasant and warm! The room is very well decorated with taste and very good bedding. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. In short, a quiet and charming place for a perfect weekend in a very beautiful city!

A perfect day!!

The very best Maison d‘hôtes!
3 rooms only directly infront of the pool. Breakfast was delicious, every morning with something different and home made. Rooms and Breakfast Room are decorated with love/very good taste.
Magali and her family made our stay to feel relaxed and somehow being at home. Nothing was to much. Big engagement to give us a lift for example to the Europcar Office which was far a way from the Center. Villa Saint Jean is a footwalk from the train station.
We love to come back to this place.

Insider Tip

The first phone call was revealing, the landlords were incredibly kind. The setting is exactly as the photos show: splendid. The quiet of the place, though at the gates of the city center, really rested us. Our simple decorated room is very functional. Breakfast changes from day to day, with fresh Viennese and handcrafted jams every morning. I understand that the negative reviews we get from people with bad intentions... If I choose a guest room, it's mostly for the quality of the relationship, otherwise go to the hotel! Thank you again!
