I spent a total of two nights, one in May with my daughter when I went down to the Pyrenees and one in June when I returned to Savoy. We were warmly welcomed twice, the house and the rooms are beautifully decorated with a very good bedding. What about meals prepared by the housekeeper with local products, bread and yoghurt, jams, shrimp, all made by Michel, a rugby enthusiast 😉. I have a very good memory of him I hope to be able to return there one day.

Welcome, friendly, calm.

We stayed with our daughter for two nights in two comfortable, quiet and very clean rooms. Covid measures are well respected but not weighty.A shelter for cars, bicycles and/or motorcycles awaits us.Breakfast side: everything is homemade and delicious.Dinner tables are simple but tasty and made with garden and/or local produce.Guests are discreet but available to answer all our questions about tours, restaurants, land products.

Staying Calm

A very pleasant stay in a comfortable, well-equipped guest room, managed by a very affectionate couple who do their best to welcome you well.

A dream stay

The guests are attentive, the house is well maintained, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is delicious, the products served are the house, the place is perfect for a quiet stay. The rooms are on a large field.

A quiet place

The room was very pleasant and decorated with a lot of taste. Unfortunately, with the obligation to wear a mask due to these harsh government measures, the atmosphere was completely frozen. The hostess was also there for something I think. There is a way to talk about this mask problem with kindness, smile and humor. A little less authoritarianism and rigidity on the part of the hostess would have been welcome!!

That's a very neat decoration.

Despite the lack of care for meals, the quality of hospitality and services is very much diminished, or you feel more welcomed. Some smiles are strong, you feel that you can do too much of the season. That's a shame.

Quality of services declining

It was a nice quiet building with charming guests, our room was very large, functional and clean, a good bunk bed, a good dining room, a good breakfast with homemade produce.

It's perfect.

This is the second time we've spent a night in the guest room La Fréneraie. We found the same warm welcome, a delicious dinner with local produce, the organ pointing the cheese tray. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

Jocelyne and Michel are charming, caring and good cooks.The rooms are spacious and well-arranged, quiet, the common rooms are warm and relaxing.Dinner and breakfast are very good, cozy and a maximum of homemade products and others come from local markets with a desire to surprise and satisfy travellers.

We spent three nights in this guesthouse, where the couple of owners were charming and especially attentive to their customers. The room we occupied, extremely clean and of good size, had a bathroom with shower and toilet. Three windows overlooked the garden below and the surrounding pastures.
