This hotel is extremely well presented, except that we arrived at lunchtime to find it completely shut up and were unable to gain access. A note on the door gave a time when the reception would be open. I think that is the first time I have ever come across this, we were aware that we would probably be unable to check in but usually are given a warm welcome e.g. the previous hotel had offered us a coffee and croissant. (Guests are alter given a front door key) So we parked the car and wandered into the village to explore. The hotel gardens look well cared for but it was miserable weather while we were there so we could not take advantage of them. Our room was very clean, as was the bathroom (no shower, just a handheld unit over the bath) but it was at the back and looked out onto a high bank and a hedge, almost subterranean. I put this down to the fact that we had booked with Brittany ferries and thus got one of the very cheapest rooms.
Breakfast was a bit of a mystery to start with, it was a very cramped breakfast room, and no one explained the system to us, the young girl who greeted us spoke very rapid French and I struggled with my limited French. Eventually we were given our fruit juice, coffee and basket of bread and pastries. There was a small choice on a buffet, but somehow I just didn't feel as relaxed here as elsewhere.
The couple running the hotel were extremely friendly, although not particularly so to us, maybe it was the language barrier, or that we had booked through Brittany ferries, or maybe we weren't gushing enough but I did feel that there were several returning guests, or people promising to return, and we were really not that important.

Well presented hotel close to the village amenities, but with a few drawbacks

We had the junior suite and loved it.  The view was great, the room was quiet and we loved the bay window and high ceilings and extra room, especially my very tall better half.  The hotel was clean and quiet, hosts were friendly, and the breakfasts were excellent.  As early risers, We did wish we had a coffee pot in the room but we found a tabac and bakery that were open early morning for espresso.  We really enjoyed the waterfront dining at the creperie and L'Escale in the harbor.  The best part about Loquemariaquer were the walking and cycling trails EVERYWHERE. Wow, if you like to walk, jog or cycle, you will be in heaven.  And so much to see, between the ocean, charming towns and amazing megaliths.  We hope to return to this hotel and do more exploring.

Wonderful hotel

Lovely house with well-maintained garden, comfortable ground floor room overlooking a small terrace, spacious bathroom, excellent lunch served by the hostess, a pleasant time of sociability.

Very well situated in a pleasant setting, we were quickly disappointed by this hotel in the Gulf of Morbihan, the very small old room with a strong smell of ambient humidity, window at the back of the road with a view of a mound of earth that comes to your eye shadow. Breakfast served as a buffet for the sweet salt is not generous or engaging, wineries, hot drinks are served at the table in a very small and dark room. Hotel 3 fountains, I will not drink your water.......(facturing 2 bottles of water 0.25 cl 3.00 € each) usually made available to guests in hotels of the same category.

A pleasant stay

I went on a few days last minute vacation with my husband, we called the day before our arrival to book three nights in this hotel. Encouraged by positive comments on booking and trip We arrived in the middle of the afternoon the day after our booking and we were settled in our room. I was caught with a very strong allergic reaction when we settled in the room. So I didn't get too sucked into this because it was a nice, scentful atmosphere spreading everywhere, produced disinfection quite strongly... In short, we always think that the manager and his wife asked us if we were well settled and I just kindly told them that we were going to have a nice trip but that we were going to have a nice trip and we were going to have a nice trip. So we got off the road and then we didn't have to be so polite because then we didn't have to be aggressive with the police. Running away, rude and disrespectful customer management

Custom and warm home. Garden and terrace pleasant. First floor room with oblique view of the bay. Good comfort but decoration to modernize. Bathroom with bathtub uncomfortable to take a shower. Wine and fresh bread for breakfast.

Nice hotel not far from the harbour

RIGHT next to the Locmariaquer Cairns and a couple of minutes from the shops and the waterfront. Good onsite parking. Run by a very lovely couple. Unfortunate that our room was between the noisy reception desk and patio -- a room which should be reserved for storage. A charming, relaxing well-kept garden to sit in.

A perfect stay

In this hotel, you should look carefully at the room you book. Unfortunately, the photos on the portals and the homepage are misleading. The so-called Superior rooms Parterre do NOT have a private terrace, on the contrary: in good weather, breakfast is served right in front of their window or you drink an aperitif there. In the morning you hear every guest who leaves passing by you to the parking lot in front of the terrace. Unfortunately, the taste of whether you really like this for the price... If you have a Superior room under the roof as we do, you can first note that you can see this room because of the very short half-circle walk to the outside of the room, but there is no window hanging, only a short walk away from the spring break, the room has a wet bathroom, and the room is available for 2 people.

Overrated.

The hotel is very nice, always ready to give advice for restaurants, for visits. The hotel is very nice as it is just a few steps from the centre of the small town, and close to the harbour. A beautiful flowery garden with tables with umbrellas and perfect lawn. The rooms are cozy, small and everything very clean. The only criticism you can make is the lack of shower, there is the tub but there is no iron to hang the shower. It would be better to have only the shower. However, I would return to this hotel for the kindness of the landlords and for a good location.
