It's a beautiful place.

We spent the night in La Barcarolle, the owner is charming, the room was clean and functional, the breakfast was generous.

What a wonderful welcome.

We stayed in the suite,2big rooms on the top floor with beautiful views on the sea/river.

Excellent guest room. Very friendly home from the owner. Very comfortable room (garden side). For a longer stay we would have chosen a room with a view of the river. Very nice place to discover Morlaix Bay. Parking in front of the house. Really the charm of an old house with a well decorated and tastefully furnished interior.

A short, comfortable and calm stop

Delightful charming house in a estuary, facing the sea, you will be awakened by the cry of the gulls. Warm home, comfortable rooms decorated with a lot of taste, impeccable cleanliness, excellent literies and shower on round cookies, sea view or cute garden in floors. Very good breakfast, bread and homemade jams are excellent, shelled egg, cheeses, fruit juices, very good coffee. Parking right in front. Very warm home.

A charming house

We stayed 3 nights in this charming house. Our room was spacious and airy overlooking the estuary at the front of the house. The room was simply but stylishly decorated and the en- suite had a decently sized  shower. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was in a room in the ground floor. Aside from the standard fare of croissant and French bread there was home made jam, chews, ham, yoghurt and fruit. There was plenty of coffee.  Like the rest of the house this room was lined with art some by a local artist. The front of the house has a lovely living room set out with comfy sofas and a grand piano. On the second flor there is another sitting room with access to the terraced garden at the rear. The host is very welcoming and helpful with local information. She provided us with good recommendations for restaurants in nearby Carantec. This is a lovely spot and the accommodation was very good and excellent value.

Stylish chambres d’hote

We came here by chance, and at the last minute, a lovely lady made the reservation and even offered to book us a table in a restaurant, a beautiful place, in a home that is just as well with a person who cares little for us and with a thousand attentions.

Charming as anything.

This bed and breakfast accomodation was excellent for a long weekend in Brittany.
Room was bright, clean and comfortable. The riverside location was stunning. Walking on road was challenging but was excellent for bike riding.

Excellent accomodation is beautiful location

Wonderful location facing the Rade de Morlaix estuary, midway between Carantec and Morlaix. Early 1900s house, lovingly restored in the last few years yet maintaining its period charm. Although the house is directly on the road, traffic was minimal (we are light sleepers and were not disturbed). Opposite is a small quay with plenty of parking space. We had a double room on the third floor, with a large comfortable bed and en suite bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Our room looked out onto the estuary. Sophie Verdier is a delight; warm and welcoming, she speaks excellent English and provides a good continental breakfast. We booked direct. Excellent value.

Wonderful location. Excellent value

We had chosen this place as the starting point for many walks and are very well located. The housewife was very kind and helpful, gave us the best recommendations for restaurants in the area and was very careful about our concerns. The room was spacious and original, the bathroom was modern and equipped accordingly, in addition there was a living area and a large garden. Also breakfast was totally fine. Who is sensitive to noise should choose a room for the garden.
