Looking from the outside of the hotel uncommitted, old style but walk through the door and the smile of the boss you feel like family. spacious rooms for a two star with a fan in each room (a little bemool the toilets are in the bathroom) attention is not suitable for disabled people because there are many stairs breakfast with yogurt compotes, jams, house is already on the table not a buffet) sausage, country cheese which is a better stay to do again

A beautiful building in the centre of the small village of St Romain below, a little old but local style and sober. Nice house fast efficient. Modestly furnished and decorated room but good bed and very pleasant views.

Nice old-fashioned hotel in the heart of a charming village

I've never eaten a cockroach like this before, beef and butter and delicious cow's milk to finish off, the boss is adorable and the boss cooks great, too bad, it looks like they're going to stop for health reasons.

Simple, homemade and very good.

We spent one night at the hotel with dinner on the premises. The reception was warm, the room clean and comfortable in a quiet and relaxing environment. A lavish terrace dinner with delicious and beautifully presented dishes based on fresh produce, excellent local wines. The breakfast was good and pleasant. The service was impeccable. Thank you to our guests for this stop on the way back that allowed us to extend our vacation in such a pleasant way.

Super food and rest stop.

We came on a Friday night we ate on the terrace beautiful scenery we have fine eating everything made at home but just one note would have to change the map of wines because not much fault in the regions I recommend this restaurant

Oh, that's great.

Reservation canceled the same day by the hotel owner on the pretext of a personal problem that was actually hiding a good little over-booking practice. The facts are as follows: - arrived at the place on the day of booking at 5pm - cold reception via the intercom by the owner who did not come to our hotel or offer any alternative. She must leave as soon as possible; we delayed her... - 30min later, guests arrive and are welcomed. According to the owner: these are roads, we leave them the keys (in this detail that the so-called usual - did not know where the entrance to the hotel was...) - 30 years later, the owner of the hotel was still waiting on her terrace without saying that she had not stopped to eat or we had not prepared to go back to the restaurant.

Scandalous

This small and newly renovated hotel is situated in a small and rather remote village in Burgundy. It is a perfect place for a short relaxed stay with excellent food in the restaurant. We had a very good room with view of the street and the valley - maybe the best room in the hotel. The owners worked efficient and quiet and we felt very comfortable during our short stay. It was worth the extra kilometers from the highway.

Just excellent

A low-lying country guesthouse in tourist Burgundy is a great variety. He cooks it makes the service and they both understand their craft. What more do you want. The food brings together the classics and the rural components of Burgundy, the wines are made from fine wines and everything is served with a good portion of humor.

Ground supporting well

We were having a day out from Beaune and came across this restaurant at lunchtime.( 1:25) The tables were still set, one couple had just finished eating and there was a party of 6 who were being served drinks and who still had to eat. We sat at one of the empty tables and when the waitress passed asked for the menu. She peremptorily said " kitchen closed " and walked away . As we were thirsty we thought we could at least have a drink. We sat and waited and waited being studiously ignored. We finally called out and asked for a Perrier and a coffee and were told " no drinks". Who has heard of a bar in France that doesn't serve drinks!  We asked the elderly couple at the next table what was the problem but they didn't know. I expect this in Paris but not in the country where our experience has been totally rewarding and we have travelled on France extensively

This hotel proved to be an unexpected treasure. Located near the top of the hill in a quiet village in Burgundy it is on the Route of the Grand Cru and perfectly located for winelovers as well as ordinary tourists. We loved its ambience and the clean, airy room with pleasant outlook and very comfortable bed. The owners, Severine and her husband Guillaume - who is also a wonderful chef and cooks the superb food for the hotel restaurant - are delightful hosts. Warm and welcoming they were very helpful with local information and, despite our limited French, went out of their way to make us feel at home in their delightful hotel. The free wifi was great and the room, though, small, was clean with a good separate bathroom with a shower that had plenty of hot water.
