Hello everyone! It is with very good memories in mind that we announce the closure of the Laundry, a beautiful page turns! A huge thank you for all those moments spent together.

Closure

We come home from a truffle weekend. At Muriel and Alain's house, with a warm welcome, we feel like friends, lovely people. Muriel is an excellent cook, the house is decorated with a lot of taste. The rooms are spacious and very clean, very well decorated, beautiful. We went to the Richerenches truffle market with Alain, then we went for a short walk, dig the truffles with Thomas and Myrtle, the truffle farmer and his dog; very interesting time. Thank you for this wonderful time with you.

weekend charmer

My husband took me away for my birthday. But what a wonderful surprise! The building is sublime, decorated to suit our tastes perfectly! It's all there: the smallest equipment in the room (junior suite), the overflowing pool, the warm welcome from the owner, the animals...it feels really good. Breakfast is complete, nothing is missing. And cherry on the cake the space to be well is a pure wonder! 1 hour of absolute happiness! I also enjoyed a total relaxing massage, the dream! Thank you a thousand times for this memorable we! We will come back with pleasure!

It's a lovely weekend

It's a very charming place, all the rooms are decorated with a lot of taste. We really felt welcomed as friends and Muriel is also very good advice (visits, restaurants, etc...). We would have liked to have extended our stay but we will definitely come back...and with great pleasure!

It's an exceptional weekend of relaxation.

A  secret place with the warmest hospitality of Muriel and her staff. Great location to stay for a night or two on the way to the south of Europe. The surroundings are astonishing. We’ll be back someday!

Hidden gem!

This is a lovely retreat.. An old 200 years old building with all the mod.cons. Muriel the owner was wonderful. .helpful with advise and has a beautiful place .Could not wish for more. Breakfast is the best so far .. lovely yogurt and home made jams. Room was large and very comfy.

The Hostess with the mostest

A moment out of time in this green countryside. Muriel and Alain are perfect hosts: welcoming, caring and at the same time very discreet. The house is tastefully decorated, the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are perfect. The outdoor setting is also very successful with the summer kitchen, terraces and swimming pool. Finally, the company of many animals is a real happiness. We are already in a hurry to return.

Relaxation, Communion, and Happiness

We were here for three nights last month with my wife, son, aunt and uncle. My family from SF Bay area and aunt and uncle from Paris. We took three rooms. The building is very old (my maybe not accurate guess is late 17'th or early 18'th centuries) with very thick walls. It was cool and comfortable inside even with 35 C temperatures outside. It is hard to describe it, it isn't like anything I had seen before. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The hosts are Alain and Muriel are warm and kind. Breakfast is included and delicious in a semi outdoor area which may have been a barn. A light lunch is provided (~ 15 Euros) if you ask for it at breakfast. I recommend this if you plan to spend the day at the hotel (which is very tempting) despite the many attractions around. On some nights a home meal is offered and I recommend this highly as well. This in the middle of world renowned Rhone wine country, The medieval village/castle of Grignan is one of many attractions.

Very cozy and luxurious. Beautiful rooms.

We were very warmly received by the owner and were immediately given a welcome drink. Then the tour of the house and the premises began with an outdoor pool and a very large garden with shaded trees. The kind-hearted household dog always accompanied us. We lived in a junior suite that was in the first floor and was extremely loving and above all very creatively decorated. The breakfast was excellent, unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of the rich offer. The croissants were worth the sin! We also had the good fortune to spend two nights alone at the pool with a very good Cotes du Rhone and watch the rising sun. The rosemary still smelled deep in the evening and we enjoyed the silence. We also enjoyed our tips. We can still come back and give a 100% recommendation.

Pure warmth

An amazing romantic hideaway and boutique hotel with very nice hosts. Settled in the heart of the Rhone Valley in the region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. I skip the details - all in all very beautiful. Oh - one thing - don't miss the amazing croissants for breakfast!
We've been there during a very hot period. The old brick house kept the heat very well away.
