The Domaine de Romefort and its owner families welcomed me with my 45 guests for 3 days of country festivities on the occasion of my 50th birthday, at the end of June 2022. Kindness, attention and discretion qualify the team in charge of the venue. A bucolic setting just like the Limousin in Haute-Vienne. The Domaine looks like a small hamlet made up of 4-5 beautiful buildings (formerly bourgeois and its dependencies) organized around a building (kitchen/reception hall) A central extended guesthouse has two very beautiful and spacious terraces/reception halls: a large outdoor terrace/reception hall with a full-time recreation area under a cool green roof and a spacious outdoor spacescape equipped with multicolished lamps. The Domaine will allow you to enjoy a very relaxing holiday, but also a very relaxing and relaxing environment, as well as a family-friendly holiday area, and a very simple and spacious living space.

My 50 years at the Romefort estate

The worst place we've been to. It's our worst stay.

We stayed here with my 2 children my brother in law his wife and 2 children all in the tournesol, then my father in law and partner and cousin with his 2 children in separate properties. The site is very nice and the properties are a really good standard with lots of space for the kids to play safely. 

The tournesol is very big and had a wonderful hedged garden at the rear with fantastic views across the valley and saint-Leonard-de-noblat.

There is a shared pool, climbing frame and trampoline for the kids which was used on a daily basis.

The owners were very helpful and although live on site respect your privacy and we rarely saw them although they were there if required. There is a fresh bakery delivery to order every day apart from mondays and is usually there by 0800.

The surrounding area is stunning with some great places to visit such as beaujaleuf and lac vassivierre, it was perfect for what we needed, would highly recommend.

Great place for big family gathering

Gathered together to celebrate birthdays, we were 15 people from the departments 02 - 80 - 70 - 31 and 81 - we enjoyed the space: 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms it is quite rare, in this autumn the wood stove worked well, very nice Well equipped, just what it takes - the place is resting - discreet and friendly owners near St Leonard of Noblat and Limoges - nice hikes, very welcome to the tourism office - we recommend visiting the Gay du Got mill, the Lussac museum and the bosso railway mines We have had a very good stay and I recommend this lodge

Have a nice stay in Limousin

We stayed at Domaine Romefort with a group of 12 people, adults and children. The house, called 'La Manoir', was comfortable, well equipped and clean; each family had their own bathroom and all the space they needed. We enjoyed the swimming pool, which is perfectly suited for children (but less suited to those who want to swim longer), and the tranquility of the surroundings. In addition to relaxing at the property, we visited Lake Sainte-Hélène, Limoges, a golf course in a nearby village (Lacelaine?) and some of us did some biking in the surroundings (walled-up).

We stayed at Domaine Romefort with a group of 12 persons, both adults and children. The house, named 'La Manoir' was comfortable, well equipped and clean; every family having it's own bathroom and plenty of personal space. We all enjoyed the poolarea, which is very suitable for children (not so much for longer swimming) and the quiteness of the surroundings. Besides relaxing at the  domain, we visited 'Lac st. Helena', Limoges, the golfcourse at a nearby village ( la porcelaine?) and some of us cycled in the (hilly) area. Though there are several houses on the property, there's plenty of space and privacy. Defenitly a place we consider coming back to!

Great time at Domaine Romefort

We spent a relaxing holiday in this property in the Limousin.The owners are very welcoming.But fortunately we got a last minute rate of 50%,because the cleanliness of the property left a desire for too many insects in the bedrooms and bathroom) But the pool is very good and open all the time;but all the edges of the gates are not finished(a lot of grass and bazaar of all kinds) When everything is finished we think the property will be beautiful,but there is still work to do!!
