Don't rely on old advice. The cottage maintenance stopped in 2010. Everything is degraded or in a pathetic state. The edges of the swimming pool are broken, grass between the dots, faults are absent in the bcp of places, tiny parking, out-of-age trades, about the pillows, cradles, holes as well as the torches made available. No reception from the owner, after a shot the day before we left, he replies to me to leave the rent check on the table. Ridiculous kitchen equipment, freezer that closes with a polystyrene, cleanliness of the cottage, not to mention the unpleasant smell of waste water.

Time stopped in 2010

On our way to Provenza we searched in Booking a place to stay with a good rating in Booking. A place near Saint Remy, quiet and with a good look. We wrote to the host to remind us of the time of entry but only responded with an automatic message that when it was available they would put a sign with our number on the door. We arrived at 11am but no apartment had our number and decided to go back in the afternoon. That was the only relationship we had with Elter. The first impression was that the exterior, garden with pool, made us comfortable. Booking offered an apartment for four but we could enter the apartment without any room, it was a room, a living room, a kitchen, a bed and a bathroom.

I don't understand the rating in Booking.

I have read the various reviews and whether there has been a positive reaction from the owners or these people are very difficult. The apartment was very clean and very hot. We have lowered the thermostats! The bed is of excellent quality. Moreover, I thank the manager for accepting animals without compensation in return for good education.

Very nice accommodation with a very nice reception (small glass of welcome rosé) and a nice green corner overlooking the Alpilles. A clean and maintained proper accommodation with a real plus to the level of bath towels (enough) and changed regularly. A spacious swimming pool and a terrace set up for meals. Clean dishes

A summer in Saint-Rémy of Provence

Ideal and quiet location. Even if it's winter and we didn't plan to swim, eating in front of a duck mare wasn't top. The pool was in winter mode, disgusting. As for the bedding, it was good, German a blanket cover would have been more hygienic than a simple sheet under the blanket (as in the old one). Cleanliness remains desirable regarding housekeeping. When the price says housing included you expect some coffee. My maniaque made me take a shower at my bedside and big surprise... the toilets and shower were available but if I got a clean shot around you realize what you didn't mean.

Good quality price ratio

We had a large, airy bathroom and put on the fridge (very strong smell of the enclosure) we cleaned our private terrace, emptied the ashes that were leaking. Fortunately we hadn't seen the pool, because in winter the edges are left to abandon, no maintenance. In the furniture room it was in poor condition, the sink wasn't fixed, a book full of dust that deserved to go to the bar (thankfully we had the fridge cleaned up!). A small calcareous bathroom because it was still full of water when we arrived.

It could be a very pleasant place... but the housing we rented is old, of questionable cleanliness... the owner of the place (very friendly to the rest) must definitely realize that a minimum of work and maintenance must be done!

I'm sorry about that.

I stayed for professional reasons on January 16 at the Swallow and I can say that it was a disappointment. When I arrived, the setting is nice but beyond the fact that no one welcomes you, no toilet paper, insufficient heating for the winter, sofa bed in the living room not worthy. In short, a very relative comfort. Cherry on the cake, I've been asking for a bill for a month and I still don't have it.

It might be nice, but... no welcome, bad maintenance, scent of sewage all over the place, unsealed toilets, questionable cleanliness of kitchen utensils, dishwasher but no laundry products... doesn't deserve its three stars.
