Frankly, this was one of the most pretentious and poor-value meals we have ever had the misfortune to experience. The portions were absurdly mean and the prices were exorbitant. For us, this was a typical example of a chef whose supposed talents had gone to his (or her) head. I had the local speciality - Bourg-en-Bresse Chicken, the one with the blue legs which is supposedly  the only bird in the world to have its own designation as a government-certified appellation. All I got was a scrawny leg with a metal ring around it to certify its provenance; the amount of meat on the thigh was minimal and, I thought, of poor quality. The leg sat balanced on a blob of mashed potato, surrounded by half a dozen or so miniscule cubes of vegetables, for the staggering price of 33 Euros. My wife had Perch, which she pronounced delicious, but this also came on a mere blob of mashed potato and with specks of nano-vegetables. All in all a huge disappointed, and yet the place was packed for Sunday lunch and I can only think that the other diners were desperate for somewhere to go when everything else locally was closed. Sadly, dining in France is not what it used to be.

Never Again!

A very unpleasant stay wasted by a very unpleasant boss in a very simple hotel in a charming village. Only hotel in the corner...then management allows itself everything....no real welcome when we arrive, the reception is only open from 6pm to 10pm officially (in much less informally) a code number transmitted by phone and the client manages to get his key and reinstall as in a Formula 1...level of comfort the room is large with clean sdbains correct but bedding comfortable and above all not climate in the heat of the day.... 2 star hotel welcomes us dryly replicates the boss wifi? impossible in the rooms breakfast served: a breakfast is under reservation and not authorized sermon we always change the genie....For the worst night, we have a very bad feeling of respect for the boss.... we have a very bad feeling of respect for the boss....

Very poor reception

Friendly home and simple but proper room in this small hotel on the village square. And that's where the problem comes from: on the square there's also the Caveau du Revermont which regularly organizes wild parties! no luck, it fell on us!!! Music melts, screams and drunken songs on the terrace until 3am: total horror. We almost packed our bags and left around 2am, going to sleep in the car. And of course neither police nor angry neighbors, the place is an untouchable institution!

big neighborhood problems

We were wondering when the police would come and arrest the breakers who were screaming and destroying we knew what was on the square right in front of the hotel. More twin beds but we have rooms with a big bed.  Bed of 140 for two tough guys hello! We are asking for a spare mattress, provided without sheets!

It's an abandoned hotel to avoid.

We went back to the house to eat and to spend the night it was very hot and the room was very closed with an impression of suffocation We decided to cancel our booking it was 3 o'clock The owner asked us to pay for the room....We were executed and left Bad impression of being cheated we scratched this address permanently

Hotel that deserves a complete renovation,rooms and courtyards!!Room with a bathroom bathroom bathroom and bathroom of the right size.The equipment is unmatched, age-old with a small flat screen TV.The bed is'refurbished' and the sheets are curiously hairy...but they look clean!!!The sound is zero with the noise of the chairs in the room below,the steps upstairs,the steps in the hallway and a steady breath of ventilation.Access to the rooms is accompanied by a strong smell of grapefruit and cold tobacco.

It's a nice building, but it's a hotel.

We were surprised to see such a presentation for a full-day menu at 14.90€ not only a refined presentation but the taste was also at the meeting. I congratulate this chef and his staff as well as the very friendly waitress who I told that it was very good and she could tell the chef.

We had a great time at this restaurant. A refined kitchen with top-notch service from start to finish!!! We will be happy to come back and recommend this establishment to our loved ones!

What a wonderful discovery.

This review is about the beautiful restaurant, not the hotel, which we don't know, lunch this afternoon with a friend. Menu for 32 euros. Refined cuisine, full of flavor, to fall to the ground........everything is perfect, quality, quantity, refinement......we feel attention and culinary research. We absolutely have to go there..........we had picked a little risotto in the entrance with pleurettes and raw ham (divin), fish and small crunchy vegetables, all perfectly cooked..........deserts, beautiful and succulent
