Three good restaurant and original with carrier service. The rooms in the 2nd deserve better comfort. The boss runs his establishment perfectly with a press book people political displayed on a nice and friendly pillar. But where are Hollande and Macron??? They are not on the wall I hope they will check this opinion and get there as soon as possible 😂

I've just been there three times in three days, very good dishes, smiling welcome, warm evening atmosphere and fast service, good quality price ratio, the staff is top smile and kindness I'd love to go back, I highly recommend.

excellent restaurant

We had lunch at this restaurant this Sunday after going there a few times a week without being disappointed, and we took a ticket and a card dish, which was excellent: the presentation, the taste, the quality and the quantity, so much so that we missed the dessert.

Great and delicious meal.

I was looking at other business hotel closer to the centre (such as mercure), but my requested dates were fully booked so les arcades was my second option. From the photo on the booking.com, it looked decent therefore I decided to stay. However as I arrived (to the room no.6) the facilities were pretty poor and the room didn't look comfortable at all. As I was on business trip, I expected more nice atmosphere for me to work in the room. The internet times out every 10min, the room is pretty dark, the shower and the washing basin are the bare minimum and they are not those of a hotel. This was not a hotel room, rather a feeling of staying at grandma's attick with old facilities. The floor was not straight and it made me feel even more uncomfortable. If it's only for a quick one night stay, it will do, but this one is definitely not for business people as the facilities are very poor. I didn't like it at all. The moment I finished exploring the room, I decided not to use this hotel. Thus I changed my hotel in the end, because it was horrible. 

Dissatisfaction 

We went to the restaurant, on the following day that two French ministers had been eating their with their guests. I could quickly understand why:

- Ambiance: I am unable to find out why and how, but the way the owners have decorated and chosen the furniture, gives the restaurant an exclusive, whilst informal, private whilst warm atmosphere.
- Service is top class!
- Wines: I love it when you let the Sommelier choose and they do not come necessarily the the most stupidly expensive wine. Ours was excellent at a very decent price.
- Food... just outstanding...
I will take one of my best clients there on Monday, driving all the way from Paris. That says it all I guess!


Outstanding once more!

At the end of the restaurant service the restaurant staff made a noise of thunder from 11:30 to 00:15 (voice blasts, furniture pulled from the floor, jammed in the stairs....) And it would be nothing without a beautiful breakfast (normally between 7 and 10 a.m)... 7:05 person door claude 7:30 door open the maid (I think) is busy cleaning the room, she sits us on a corner of a table and serves us a limited breakfast (bread and industrial gold juice...)

That's unfortunate.

This hotel is very well located in Valenciennes, in front of a tram stop, and two steps from the town hall. The bed is rather good, but the biggest problem is the soundproofing of the rooms: I could hear my neighbor's phone, and even her interlocutor answer her... Breakfast is relatively cheap (6€), but short: coffee, growing bread and jam, and a glass of orange juice.

Good hotel, excellent hotel, good bed, very well located, clean and quiet, spacious, good equipment, courteous staff, high-speed, very stable Wi-Fi, sea view, excellent access to lifting machines.

super hotel very classy

The room is really not terrible: unprotected couch with a lid and a blood stain on it! A little top of bed that hides this with a drained task as well. Toilets with the trace of yellow limestone. In short, I really don't recommend. We hear the little need of the neighbor and the preparation of the little girls' restaurant by ladies who talk really loudly. On the other hand, the restaurant is top, with a pretty high budget (€20 hamburger).
